I am impressed to say the least. We started with being disappointed because the original worst rated pizza restaurant that I read about was actually closed permanently upon arrival and that was "Westend" in Hartford and so the next 2 star location was "ABC Pizza House" which is located next to a fire dept and across from Trinity College. I was hit with the warm greeting when I walked in and as I looked around, you can tell that the team here takes pride in their establishment for it was clean throughout the restaurant. Sure, there were a few stacks of soda in the next room over but they were even neatly placed and so I felt comfortable eating here. Now, this is supposed to be a comparison to the best rated pizza video that I had shot the. other day and so I placed the same order, white pie with clams and pepperoni and it was not exactly a night and day situation but the clams weren't as fresh as they were from Frank Pepe's. They definitely used different clams for the taste was off just a bit but not necessarily the end of the world. The pepperoni was your average run of the mill style, that provided flavor and the mozzarella wasn't half bad. The crunch on the crust is what I always check for and they did not fall short there. Now overall, this pizza falls in the 3 star range for me but it was the customer service that took them up a notch for the 3.5 stars, which in turn must be rounded up and so we arrive at 4 stars here on Yelp. You can tell the management Team here reads their yelp reviews and have been putting in the work to provide a better quality of food here and service to their community and I love that for them. So much so, that I plan to reach out to see if I can help them with some Promotional Videos to help get the word out that they are really listening to their customers and want. to show them the changes being made.

I placed an order with ABC Pizza on the phone this morning. I needed a large cheese pizza for my class' holiday party. I was nervous a large wouldn't be enough to feed 10 little kids and a few adults, so I ordered their sheet pizza. It was delivered within a half hour since I called. It was around $28. This was a very large pizza. It was cut into small squares, which is perfect for little hands to hold. It was also very cheesy. This pizza was super greasy, I had to pat it with a paper towel to pick up some of the grease. The ABC pizza was very doughy, with a very minimal crust, I enjoyed the crust, it was crispy, but I wouldn't call it crunchy. I should have gone with a large. Most of the kids had one slice, and a few had two. There were plenty of leftovers. While this is far from my favorite pizza, I would order from them in the future, for my class. The delivery was fast and the kids loved it. I just wish it wasn't so greasy.

Left from church hungry, me and my friend where hungry. We decided to look to a open place to go and eat. I decided let's go to ABC pizza. Place looks busy, people coming in to pick up their orders. We decided to try their Hawaii pizza . Max wait time was around 15 to 20 min. We decided to eat in and enjoy the pizza . Pizza was good . 4 slices were left and I decided to bring the rest home. I got up to ask for a box. I was given a box for the four slices and when I open the box, the first thing I seen a roach running around the box. I told the guy and gave the box back. He took the box back and sleep the box and gave me the b9x back. I was disgusted and won't be back. It was my first and last.

Today on July 18, 2023, I order a small hamburger with onions and peppers pizza and a half of steak and American cheese with onions and peppers. I was so disappointed, I got a half of a half of grinder, no onions and mozzarella cheese instead of the American cheese and the bread was stale bread. I didn't get a receipt. I won't ever order from them again.

They made my Gyro on top of a spot they cut raw shrimp on. Health people get there soon before someone dies. They are way to expensive. Used to go there when I was a kid as my grandparents owned a three family apartment, and that afforded them a big family, and extras. Miss that location, but these days it's dangerous to walk around there.
