Thus far the best breakfast joint I have experienced in Hartford County. Great food, friendly service, huge portions, reasonable prices and zero pretentiousness. The Italian bread they serve you, as opposed to the lame little bread triangles most other places offer, hands down seals the deal. Just remember to bring cash.

Solid breakfast joint with fresh ingredients and cooked to order - with the BEST service from a different time and place, where people cared and customers mattered. I will stop by again when I'm passing through town to remind myself how things SHOULD be.

I've been coming to alegros going on 20 years. They are the most funny kind hearted people you can ever know. I consider them my extended family not friends but family. They also have a warm welcome and talk with you during your stay and make sure you are satisfied and happy.

Western omelet was way over cooked, it was brown...horrible they said they'd redo but I was already at work..so I said another day. Oh and way overpriced 16 would be ok I guess if everything was done right ill give them that redo chance.
