I have been going here since 2015. Amazing food, amazing employees, amazing owners. There is not one bad thing anyone could say about this place. Love them❤️

I was going to delete this review but I’ll pass. The location on Albany ave is solid but this one will have you PISSED every single time. Waited months to try again after my last purchase was trash only to have the same garbage. Only ordered parcha and (3) chicken pastelillos but of course I got old hard ass beef empanadas wasn’t fresh at all and DoorDash customer service sucks! The restaurant confirmed I got the wrong items and it’s literally the only food item ordered. Why not cancel it if you don’t have what was paid for? Over them fr never again!
This location is always ripping people off. They charge way too much money to send this little bit of food. The containers are thin and they barely give you any food. The steak was packed in a separate plastic container, soaking in oil food taste rushed but charged almost $30 for this meal. Mind you this is for my lunch break so it’s not as simple as just bringing it back. So disappointing smh

Food was ok, nothing special. Especially pricy serving small portions. Got 2 orders of pancakes, 2 home fries, 2 order of eggs. Pancakes were extremely small and thin only 2 each order at that. Got 2 large fruit drinks, one Minute Maid. 1 empanada. Charged just a little under $80. $40 per person barely food on plate. Better off else where that’s not gonna rip you off. Plenty of great Spanish food for better cost and better portion.

Authentic and tasty Puerto Rican food established in Hartford as far back as the 1970's.
Customer service was trash. Guy couldn’t hear what I was ordering because he decided to take my order while someone else was ordering. He prepared what he wanted to when I advised him that was not what I ordered he became frustrated and asked if I wanted him to put what he prepared back to fix what I actually wanted. And then proceeds to give me burnt pieces of meat and if it wasn’t burnt it was fat. I felt a lot of prejudice from my server which was a guy. I would never return or recommend any of my friends or family to patron there!
