Cant believe theres Artichoke pizza in Hartford. The original is in Nyc. We were so happy to see this place here. If you haven't tried Artichoke pizza you dont know what your missing. Try it you wont be disappointed.

We took the Staten Island slices. It was very tasty. Must try. Good that they have slices and we don't have to buy the whole pie. After a long time they opened. They were closed due to pandemic. I think anyone passing Hartford or living in Hartford should give them a try.

Good beer selection with knowledgeable staff. I enjoy the low key atmosphere and comfort food. Any place with a Christmas Story leg lamp has to be a good place.

Ordered lunch and it was the worst pizza of I’ve ever had. The artichoke pizza was very very undercooked and the cheese pizza tasted old like it had been made a couple days ago and sat out for a while. The cheese pizza was also so thin you could see through it, there was no dough. The girl working was also extremely rude. Cannot recommend and will not return.

Was looking forward to trying their famous artichoke pizza and snag a couple drinks with it.Pizza: Very salty and the crust was warm but everything else, the sauce and cheese was semi-cold. Didn’t finish it, perhaps their pepperoni slice is better?Drinks: Took me half way through eating my pizza for me to get some drinks, I was not happy. The experience could of been better, I’ll give probably get it another shot because I dig their prices.

This is a really nice place with a even nicer staff. I came for the Artichoke Nachos displayed on their Instagram page this particular day and it did not disappoint. The Nachos were great ! Layered throughout with Artichoke and blend of cheeses, spinach and cherry peppers . Fantastic!!!! We did order the Staten Island slices with red onion and meatballs . The meatballs are amazing. The bar is really nice I can't wait to come back. They played good music I was happy bought that.

What were those 4 weak a** slices supposed to do? I was expecting 6, maybe 8 if you guys were being generous... but like what is 4 slices supposed to do? Feed a toddler?

Monday nights are pretty awesome at Artichoke Basille's Pizza. It was a last minute decision to drive into Downtown Hartford and it turned out to be such a great time. First, as an avid nacho lover and supporter, it was a real treat to see their own version of nachos on the menu. Artichoke Nachos have Artichoke Basille's famous artichoke sauce loaded with spinach and artichoke, a blend of cheeses and cherry peppers over crispy tortilla chips. The cheese pull on this bad boy was insane. I love that this is a nacho application of their famous pizza. So cool to see a spin on it like this. The cherry peppers were pretty spicy hot, so be prepared. I like spicy, so it was a real winner. If the nachos weren't enough to write home about, on Mondays you can get a Basille's Regular Cheese 18" Whole Pie for only $10! That's a pretty sweet deal. My friend and I also split the Tomato with Mozzarella Salad- fresh tomato, basil and mozzarella drizzled in olive oil, salt and pepper. They split the large salad onto two plates for us to make it easy to serve and it was awesome. Of course being at Artichoke Basille's, you have to try a slice of their signature pizza. The Artichoke slice has their signature cream sauce with artichoke hearts and a blend of cheeses. This has a pretty thick crust and is definitely one of my favorites. The Monday pizza special has a thinner crust and they are both delicious in their own different ways. I do love that Artichoke Pizza though. When we walked in that night, we really had the place to ourselves at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. I will definitely be back on a Monday night. Looks like they have specials on Tuesday and Wednesday too. Tuesday is any two personal specialty pies for $17.99. Fun! And Wednesday is buy any large pie and get a bottle of wine at half price. Definitely worth the trip downtown!
