My family has been going here for years. It's good for families because of how informal it is. The food is really good too. But the last 3 times I've gone, they've been completely sold out of all chicken and turkey. Also they are always behind on cooking french fries, saying they will bring them out to you... last time they never even brought them out, and I had to go back up and stand around and wait for them to figure it out. Also on a recent trip, the guy at the meat counter was straight up rude to my wife. So I would say, things have gotten a little loose here lately.

Bears is always my go to while I'm at the convention center for a con or tournament. Bit pricy but it's good food, good portions and will fill you up
I moved from texas to CT. And maybe I am not being biased. But the ribs and the brisket lack a lot of flavor, weren't cooked right, way to dry. Mashed potatoes looked awfull threw it away, only thing good was the texas sausage. Overall, I will not be purchasing from this place ever again. Nothing against the place is just not good at all.

Bears, I love you. In fact I’m a Bearniac! But I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and asked for no coleslaw and you give me coleslaw. Not the end of the world but c’mon guys. I think if a customer wants coleslaw they should have to ask for it. Otherwise no coleslaw.

Placed an order to be picked up at 11:30am. It was not ready until 12pm. They claimed the pastrami would only be a couple of minutes but as it got close to 12 we swapped to a meat that was ready. The burnt ends were completely charred black. The wings had rubbery skin and were not sauced like I ordered. The corn bread smelled like old cheese and did not taste good either. The packaging was very sloppy too and everything was thrown in the bag in a very messy way. Extremely disappointed with the entire experience.
This BBQ place has gone down the toilet!! How can anyone say it’s 4 stars? the baked potato looked and tasted like it was 5 days old? the brisket was dry and looked old as well. The ribs weren’t the best either. Watching the server take the meat out of foil that looked like it was used several times made me sick. Yuk? I’ve eaten there a few times giving it a chance. It sucks?I believe the cashier rang us up wrong and over charged us big time but my husband was too lazy to go back up and dispute. Do not recommend waiting your hard earned money
