This is my go-to spot before a night of theater. Bin 228 is a trendy, cozy place with a varied selection of wines. We shared their fontina cheese Fonduta which hit the spot during the cold month of February. Their lamb meatballs were tasty and ample. Service was friendly and helpful.

The meals and service were beyond my expectations. I truly loved the ambience of this spot. First-rate spot to take my family out for dinner.

Always a favorite before going to Theaterworks- great food, very good service, wonderful wine list. Had a bunch of appetizers once and was so happy!

A quaint spot for wine. Very simple wine menu and a few cocktail drinks. Wasn’t super impressed. Thought the Oregon wines were an odd add-on to their menu. Not sure if I’ll be returning.

Went here twice in a weekend. The cocktails were superb and the small plates were amazing. The fondue and pate were both outstanding. We had Kelly serving us and she was truly great.

Great for prethearter, with Theater Works across street. Fine wines and good food.

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is for the cute decor and decent wine selection. The service was just AWFUL and unwelcoming, or simply rude and disrespectful! Don't even bother, this is hands down the worst experience. The busiest fast food restaurant will provide you with a better service than this place.

Good place for wine tasting

Wonderful for pre-theater eating. Paninis and shared small plates are generous portions. Cocktails creative and varied. Salmon panini was unique addition to a sandwich selection. Menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone. Staff was very accommodating since we did not have a reservation on a Wednesday night. Very warm decor for a gastro-pub. Located in the beautiful Goodwin Hotel. Only thing that prevented me from rating it excellent was the long wait to get our food once ordered.

The little restaurant that can! Great staff, cozy space, delicious food prepared with care, and of course an amazing wine selection. What's not to love?
