This review is based upon multiple orders this year and last year. The first time I tried to order from Bombay, which was in the very early days of the Market, there was a bit of a hiccup with the online ordering system that led to an issue. I won't get into specifics, but what followed, was a master class in customer service and how to deal with an issue, and I emerged with a great feeling about Bombay. I have seen other great examples of Bombay's customer service. They've offered me free special tea. The owner remembers me from my multiple times there and he acknowledges our support. The food is very well packaged. Again, just great customer service at Bombay. Bombay's cuisine has Nepalese and Indian elements. I'm experienced with Indian food, and a novice with Nepalese food. My wife and I both really liked the Nepalese momos, which are filled Nepalese dumplings vaguely similar to something you might see at a dim sum restaurant. You can get them steamed or fried. We also both love the samosa chaat, which consists of sliced potato and vegetable samosas, topped with sauces, herbs, vegetables and other accoutrements. They have pretty good versions of chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. The naan has a different texture and thickness here than a lot of the Indian places we visit. I'm not sure if it's a different style due to the Nepalese elements, or just a different take on naan. Bombay Express is definitely worth checking out as you make your way through the Parkville Market.

A good options for vegetarians. We like the momos, both steamed and fried. HUsband and daughter adore the veg fried rice--not like Chinese style at all, better depth of flavor. Husband also likes the veg noodles. We tried the meals, but the portion of rice to actual food is way off. I love the samosas and the samosa chaat--completely filling and full of spices and mixed sauces. A must-stop destination when at Parkville food hall.

Great place if you enjoy canned sauce with no spice, plain rice and reheated frozen bread.

Bombay Express is always one of my main stops when I visit Parkville Market. The owners are very friendly and professional. The food tastes amazing and fresh. You can actually watch the process sometimes of them making some of the specials from scratch. I have never had dumplings before and these MoMos have definitely converted me, soooo good. When I get a meal from here, I feel like I'm visiting a friend at home and they are cooking me a nice homemade indian/nepalese meal. Yes it's that good.

Hailing from NYC and having tried many samosas, I can say w confidence that these vegetable samosas are out of this world! They have just the right crispness (made fresh and not reheated which makes them soggy) and have the best sauces (cilantro, the saltier option and a sweet sauce) to go with them! I specifically come to Parkville Market to get these.

Stop by this place just fir the Gulab Jamun if you're in Parkville Market. The Gulab Jamun was really good, but the Samosa Chat, wasn't. Giving this place a 4 because wouldn't normally order Samosa Chat. If you look at the photo of the Samosa Chat below without context, your first guess wouldn't be Indian food. It looked more like something from Taco Bell, and kinda tasted like it too. Everything was super heavy on the spices, so taking a bite was like eating taco meat and sauce by itself. The Gulab Jamun, however, was really good and would definitely recommend getting that no matter what else you eat at Parkville Market. The balls hold their shape, despite sitting in the syrup for so long, while still being soft on the inside. When it falls apart in your mouth, you get a deliciously sweet gush of syrup. Not the healthiest but definitely worth it. Price wise, the Samosa Chat at 9 seems slightly overpriced, while the Gulab Jamun at 3 is par for value.

This is one of my favorite place for Indian food. I tried their curries and samosa chaat last time i visited hartford and they were really good and flavorful. I will defiantly return to try their momo next time.

Bombay Express is the best place to get yourself MO: MO if you are around Connecticut. Fried, stream, or Jhol MO:MO you name it. It is the best. The "Jhol" of the Jhol MO:MO is outside this universe. I had fried wings too and let me tell you it is one of the best wings I have ever had in my life. You all need to try the MO: MO as well as the wings. Moreover, any food there is fabulous. Expect the unexpected from Bombay Express.Sorry, I would post the picture of what I had, but I had to eat it all before I could write this review.

I ordered chicken tikka masala. The pictures below will show you what I got. Very dissatisfied. Really have no other words to describe the portion. The sad thing is everything was tasty. But if I wanted rice with a side of chicken for dinner that's what I would have ordered.

This spot took over 1 hour to serve me 1 chicken chow Mein... they said it would take 15 minutes. My friend ordered here as well and ordered veggie chow Mein and waited an hour as well and got chicken curry and rice. This type mistake is unacceptable because of allergies and just being so unorganized. Multiple people were also waiting over an hour and started complaining. This place has the worst customer service I've experienced at Parkville Market. I do not recommend this food unless you want to wait and hour for subpar frozen food. I only gave it a 1 star because they got my order right unlike my friend.

This place is part of Parkville Market Food Hall. I took out lunch from here. Fried chicken momo was my favorite. Steamed chicken momo was also good. I also went for chicken fried rice and chicken chowmein. I felt the specialty of these 2 things were that it was cooked with a slice of lime in it. That gave it an additional lime tanginess. I think it was slightly more salty to balance the tanginess.
