My husband and I were looking for a Christmas Day date night restaurant and so we came here. Not many places were open Christmas Day so it was great to find a restaurant that was. The service was great, the staff were super sweet and clear on what could be made. And the restaurant display for Christmas was so breathtaking. I’m so glad that the restaurant wasn’t just pretty, but that the food was also delicious. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Only downside was tight parking spots but at least there were parking spots available and they were open on Christmas Day so I can’t complain.

my 1st experience at Carbones was with my parents when I was 15 im 47 and this is still one of my favorite restaurants in the greater hartford area that never disappoints.
I came here for my friend's birthday dinner, and it was a great time. The only issue was the parking - the lot was really small and packed, and even after circling around a couple times I couldn't snag a spot so ended up parking down the street and walking. The service and the food were both fabulous. The waitress was very personable and friendly, though she did seem to go a little MIA at one point. For the most part, it was flawless. They allowed an outside cake for dessert as well. Great place for a fancy dinner date or celebration.

If i could give them ten stars I would have .It met all my exspectaions and more.The lobster scampi was wonderful.The prices taking in to concideration the quality of the food and the professionalism of staff, it was very reasonable.

In a meal which included cocktail, appetizers, entrees and desserts, there was only one flaw. My octopus appetizer had been cooked to the point of becoming rubber, which could barely be cut by a knife. All other items in our meals were cooked to perfection and were delicious.
