Excellent selection of beer styles that are harder to find. Cool atmosphere, good vibes

I just went to Dead Language for the first time this past weekend. I should have gone a lot sooner. I had four of the beers and all were very good. My favorite of the four was Juno, a German Altbier, but all were great! I took home some cans of Paper Tiger, a Czech Amber Lager, so good! I will definitely be heading back soon to try more beers and take more home. So nice to have such good alternatives to the typical IPA's, though I did have Brookie, an IPA, which was also very good. The place has a nice chill vibe with good folks to talk to at the bar, and Chris the brewer is friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping here, especially if you are looking to try some great Czech & German style beers! Cheers!

Nice beer, does not have a sour microbrew unfiltered flavor.
Nice variety, not overly reliant on one style of beer.
Lovely and unique atmosphere. Conveniently located near the Parkville Market.

Had my 40th Birthday Party in their private room. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Awesome beer and canned cocktails for the non-beer drinkers. Great atmosphere and awesome vibe.

Dead Language is a great smell brewery. I tried a number of beers and they were all very good. The kölsch stood out as finding one in the US that reminds you of Cologne is almost impossible.

We hosted our Jack&Jill shower for our wedding here. Incredibly easy to work with, affordable, friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. The event space has lots of seating and space to serve food. We were able to set up a few games as well without it feeling crowded. Can't recommend them enough! So glad we ended up here! 🍻

excellent variety of beers on tap, and kudos to them for putting on amateur wrestling. The place is rather hard to find though, it would behoove them to put out a sign along Park and Bartholomew, maybe one of those air inflated crazy dancing things

Love the vibe, very knowledgeable staff and amazing beer. Lots of German beer, lagers, Pilsner and the like. The smoke beer was delicious!

Dead Language is a wonderful and unique space. It honors and celebrates its history in their brewing space, including the factories that used to be there, but it also is very modern and forward thinking, and engaged in the Hartford community. It would be 5 stars even if the beer wasn't good. But the beer is actually amazing! A good variety, too.
