Very impressed - we struggle to find authentic Mexican options in New England that capture the “taco shop” vibe you’d find in Southern California. This hit the spot. Service was great and they were even willing to make a bit of a custom order that combined two things on their menu. Also have a small market area with typical Mexican candies, chips, pan, and cakes. Will be back next time we’re in the Hartford area!

Delicious! Couldn't decide on breakfast or lunch so I had breakfast (huevos rancharos) and my companion had lunch (chicken burrito). We started with chips and salsa which were good. They provided a bucket (see pic) of sauce. Lol! We got our meals, both were delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the refried beans were really good. Only thing that would make the huevos better would be a little cheese. My companion loved her chicken burrito especially the crema on top. Clearly we are sauce people! And the last mention is their hot sauces. They provided a green (verde) sauce and a red (roja) sauce. The roja was fab-u-lous! We very much enjoyed our meals.

One of a kind gym in the central location of harford, if you're looking for mexican cuisine atmosphere in the full experience of the culture, this is the place to go.There is plenty I mean plenty of booths and tables to eat at. They also have a second area that wraps around to the back with TV an extra. Just in case you don't like to be seen, if you want a private seating That's how I am. I like to sit and enjoy my food. They also do orders on grubhub. If you can't get there, I highly recommend looking them up in other platforms if you cannot make it there. But to get the full experience, you need to go and sit, enjoy yourself bathe in the beauty of this place.
Like I said, it is a gem ? if you are a foodie like I am, we're just looking for a romantic place to bring the misses or mister.
Or even just a good family time out, there's parking on the side. If you can't get in the main road and just live life.
I can't wait to go back

I ordered a meal via DoorDash (roast meat dish) and the rice was burnt, hard and not even hot. Terrible service!

Very disappointed!! I ordered the Birria tacos ? and the flavors were not there!!!!!! The tortillas were burnt and you could taste it !!! I make my own Birria and El Sarape’s might be the worst I’ve had from any state !!!!!! What a bust !!

Authentic Mexican food that was so delicious! It's a definite place for me to return to.
Parking was fairly easy on Broad St since it was immediately right in front of the restaurant. If it's your first time parking here just be mindful when leaving since it's a fairly busy, narrow road.
Staff member (possible owner?) who waited on us was super friendly and attentive during our visit. We were provided with freshly made chips and salsa as we waited for our food to arrive.
I ordered the Nachos Supreme with ground beef and it was a hearty amount of food. I normally can put food away at lunchtime but this was more than I could handle. Super flavorful! The portion size was definitely meant for two people and was at a cheap price for $12.

We went today after attempting to go to a few other restaurants that happened to be closed- so thankful we did. The woman serving us was so kind and helped to guide our decisions. We got the agua fresca de maracuya, torta cubana, carne and birria tacos, and pastel de tres leches.
The food was out of this world, so fresh and delicious. The best birria I've had since moving to the state. We would 100% go back!
