Great little place, great service and limited seating.
Excellent food! Nothing fancy but traditional Mexican food, it was delicious.
I wanted Mexican food and this place was close by. The vibe outside was a bit sketchy, but the food and service once we got into the restaurant was very worth it! I highly recommend the pumpkin seed pork. It is bursting with flavor that has depth. The next time I am in Connecticut, I will make a special trip to this place.
We were here on Memorial Day and one of the few restaurants open. It is a great place. Great service both in English and Spanish. Amazing Drinks and food. We had the pozole and street tacos. Super delicious. We easily found parking on the street. Everyone super friendly too.
I ORDER A STEAK BURRITO BUT I I GOT A RICE BURRITO INSTEAD 3 PIECES OF STAKE SO DISAPPOINTED NEVER ORDERINF FROM THERE AGAIN I WILL STAY WITH THE SMALL MEXICAN TAQUERIAS THEY ARE THE BEST THEY CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY SERVE. ZERO STAR FOR EL SERAPE. ARROZ SIN CARNE COMO CUANDO ERA UN NIÑO. OH Y CAROOOO. TOO MUCH 16 +$ FOR RICE IN A TORTILLA. 1 star to let me post. But ZERO FROM .ME ZERO. ZERO. VERY DISSAPOINTED.
Had an amazing burrito and the staff is so friendly
The food was amazing, the birria tacos were delicious especially with the consome!
The tequila was amazing #period
Tacos are delicious good prices and they have a big menu lots of Mexican food and drinks too.
It's a sad day when I have to admit that chilli's makes better fajitas than a brick and mortar Mexican restaurant. I'm struggling to express just how disappointed I am and how horrible the food was. I ordered what is possibly the most boring and bland chicken fajita. The chicken wasn't frilled but rather had the texture as if it was steamed briefly, the flavor wasn't there and the meat was very soggy. It almost had the eltexture of Chinese pepper steak. I ordered a side of Chiles tornados (roasted jalapeños ) and they looked moiled the briefly grilled. To add insult to injury, it was 26 dollars. I was really looking forward to the food but ended up throwing it out. The best way to describe it. The chosen was sautéed with the onions and peppers. There. If you're craving a chicken. Fajita, donyourself a favor and skip this place and go to chili's.

I had the steak tacos and they were tasty. Priced fair. But then I ordered the beef soup and it was $17, it was way too pricey and it was not flavorful at all. I think $17 for soup is a bit ridiculous.
Just found this place today and let me tell you I am incredibly happy with the food here .. me and my little one got the chips and salsa to start and then the tacos. Can't remember which ones exactly but went crispy and no regrets! Can't wait to come back also the Mexican candy yummy!!! 2 min walk from the library.
Best Mexican food in Hartford.
Very impressed - we struggle to find authentic Mexican options in New England that capture the “taco shop” vibe you’d find in Southern California. This hit the spot. Service was great and they were even willing to make a bit of a custom order that combined two things on their menu. Also have a small market area with typical Mexican candies, chips, pan, and cakes. Will be back next time we’re in the Hartford area!

Delicious! Couldn't decide on breakfast or lunch so I had breakfast (huevos rancharos) and my companion had lunch (chicken burrito). We started with chips and salsa which were good. They provided a bucket (see pic) of sauce. Lol! We got our meals, both were delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the refried beans were really good. Only thing that would make the huevos better would be a little cheese. My companion loved her chicken burrito especially the crema on top. Clearly we are sauce people! And the last mention is their hot sauces. They provided a green (verde) sauce and a red (roja) sauce. The roja was fab-u-lous! We very much enjoyed our meals.
