I give Federal Cafe located at 84 Union Pl, Hartford, CT 06103 Five stars. Its cool to know that Federal Cafe is Hartfords oldest Bar. The staff was chill and its nice how Union station is right next door, make sure to order the $15.00 Hot Pocket. Haha 5ï¸âƒ£ âno food is sold here.

It is a low key bar around the public transpirtation. The drinks were good and the price is reasonable.

Great spot for happy hours! My coworkers and I went after work one day and the service was quick, the bartender was very attentive and the drinks were delish. Definitely going back!

Found a cockroach in my water this weekend. Brought it to their attention and they did absolutely nothing about it. Made me pay full price for my drinks and didn't do much to rectify the issue. I made sure I recorded the roach in my water as well as the entire bar so everyone can see that it in fact is THE FEDERAL CAFE of Hartford, CT that is serving their customers roaches in cups of water.
