Had dinner at Gather 55 last night and it was the most pleasant dining experience and best food I’ve had in months! Crystal’s service was excellent! She is a master at her craft! Not only was the experience worth every penny, the mission and purpose of Gather 55 is wonderful! I wish we had one in TN!

I just got home from eating at Gather55 and wanted to write a review immediately! More people need to know about this place! I took my friend here for a birthday breakfast. Both of us had never been but have been trying to get here for a long time!! We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our waitress Crystal come over to introduce herself and to take our drink orders. When she brought them, she asked if it was our first time visiting, and we both said yes. Crystal was very excited and said that she loves when new people come in! She told us all about the menu and the price schedule and let us have a few minutes to look over the menu. We both ordered the breakfast scramble Which was delicious! When Crystal came back to check on our food, she offered to tell us how she came to working there. At the end of our meal, she asked if we wanted any of the amazing looking bakery items that they had for sale, to which I ordered a cinnamon roll to go, but found it difficult to decide because everything in that case looked delicious! When Crystal came to bring us the check saying happy birthday to my friend and we were delighted to discover that she’s got an amazing voice! She should definitely sing more often. The whole experience was incredible and I can’t wait to come back to try dinner with the rotating chefs that come through. It is such an amazing concept that they have their, I love that they have different chefs come through so the menu never gets boring or tired, and the enthusiasm and friendliness of everybody who works there made our experience that much more enjoyable.

This place is never ever a disappointment, from the greeter(Raymond)when I walk in the door to my waitress Christine I have driven 30 minutes and my food is always at the right temperature, because of the organization that is a part of this I will always support them

Our experience was amazing starting with our server. Crystal was just such a genuine soul who had no hesitation in communicating with three Deaf ladies. The food was delicious, Crystal was top-notch, and the experience was just chefs kiss. Highly recommend.

I went to Gather55 for dinner this past Saturday and I was very impressed! I had the 3 course prix fixe menu. I chose the Lobster Ravioli as my appetizer, which was outstanding. Then I had the Margherita Tiger Shrimp as my entrée and the Flourless Chocolate Torte for dessert, both of which were delicious. All of those dishes come from recipes created by different chefs from Gather55's rotating guest chefs. Where else can you mix & match from different accomplished chefs as you like?! Furthermore, I ordered coffee with dessert and to my delight the server offered warm milk to accompany the coffee. The atmosphere at Gather55 is classy without being pretentious. The fresh flowers on each table were a very nice touch. To top it off, dining at Gather55 supports the excellent community work that Hands On Hartford does!

What a great hidden gem of a restaurant. Excellent food that is beautiful platted. Menu lists the local chefs that have donated their time and recipes to this restaurant. Service was knowledgeable and very friendly comparable to any high-end restaurant. The best part... all the profits from Gather55 go to helping the community lift themselves up.

You can see her passion, and she will give you great recommendations. The food is comparable if not better than any high-end restaurant in Hartford County.

I’ve been curious to check out Gather55 since I first learned of their unique concept, and I’m so glad my fiancé and I were finally able to visit! The food from guest chef Tom Kaldy was delicious, and we liked that they had a mix of dishes from past guest chefs which featured a wide variety of flavors. Their prix fixe price is reasonable, and it’s nice that the servers don’t accept tips, but rather donations for Hands on Hartford. Such a cool way to try different dishes from top CT chefs while also supporting this awesome non-profit. We were the only diners for dinner that evening while there was a private event in their main dining room, but the servers did a great job giving us a nice ambiance.

This is our new favorite restaurant! The atmosphere is great, and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I love that, by eating there, you can also support the community. The food was stellar: Our favorites were the pasta appetizer, the empanadas, and short rib. They made me a special non alcoholic drink! My husband liked the beer options. Thank you, Gather 55!
