They have the best curry chicken! The pepper steak is also phenomenal. Above all, their fried chicken is outstanding. Those are the only things I’ve ever gotten but their food is the best in the area! I forgot, their fried dumpling and ackee breakfast is also the best.

I had peppersteak w/ pumking rice the meat was done great But the waiting was terrible. I called they said 20 minutes and when i got there i had to wait another 20 minutes for other customers unfortunatly. Pick up orders shoulnt be waiting twice.

I ordered a medium stewed chicken,rice&beans and steamed vegetables today.Was surprised to see JahmSke's now using drumstick instead of chicken thighs for the meal.Wasn't as flavorful and had lots bone pieces in the meal.This has been my favorite place to come for stew chicken since trying and having issues with Russell's cheap drumstick meals.Hartford is not the safes place to come to any more but this was one of the great food places I enjoyed Was very disappointed.Hopefully I can find some where in my town with StewedChicken made like Jamaica Sunday dinner.

Just because l don't get up at the crack of dawn to go for ackee...which is the best around...I didn't get any at all... I go and she say there is not enough to make a medium which is the only size they sell...ok so l ask can they make it a small to get the food l really wanted and she say no...soooo you lose money and now a customer because you don't want to discount the price to make the sale...good grief. No sorry...no can l get you something else...just no...now where am l supposed to get good ackee...someone please let me know. Thanks

I went there today my husband and I. I had a conch and callaloo rice, my husband had a larger curry goat. The food didn’t taste as should they even had ginger as a substitute for scotch bonnet in my meal. The food quality is not the same as before we won’t go back neither meal was any good. Not to mention the price.

It's a genuine Jamaican food take out food. The food is very good The prices are quiet low and quantity of food is so much. It's like a hole in the wall place .Think of a Chinese take out restaurant. I was happy with my visit and will go there again for take out only.

I went in to get 2 meals and a soup today June 8 I'm waiting in line for a while now. And this guy walks in behind me and ask for a soup and they attended him first I said excuse me but I have been waiting on line they totally ignore so I walked out I will never step in that place again this is bad for business because I notice that he took care of his own people before me he could of told the guy that he had to wait in line just like everyone else but since I have light skin maybe he thought myoney was not the same as his and by the way I'm puert Rican and we don't do that kind of behavior in our restaurant everybody should be equally served

My biggest problem with this restaurant is that you never know what you're going to get. One day chicken stew is sweet, another its spicy, another its flavorful. One day you are served gravy and bones. Quality of food is sliding and it has been for a while. Try to be consistent in how you cook your meals. A manual or process and procedure book never hurt anyone.ETA - todays food tasted like leftovers
