Quality, classic Jamaican food. The rice and peas are delicious, the jerk pork hits, and I’ve heard everything else is good.

Wanted to like it, but this is the worse Jamaican food I have ever had- this is coming from someone who has a Jamaican family background... I had the jerk pork with rice and peas and side of plantain. The jerk pork was dry and flavorless. It appeared that they cooked the pork separately and drenched it with the jerk sauce. The rice tasted like boil in bag rice ,did not taste traditional at all. The plantain were okay. Being in Hartford, I wouldn't buy this again as there better Jamaican options around ...

Literally the worst Jamaican restaurants I’ve ever ordered from every time I order from here the chicken is raw I don’t understand how you mess up on curry chicken shut it down. I really should’ve taken more pictures of how raw the chicken was for real. The restaurant should be named Jamaica jerk raw. The jerk chicken is just a disappointment like ewww who made that.

I enjoyed the food here. The oxtail had a good flavor and fell off the bone because of how tender it was. I also enjoyed the mac and cheese and plantains, though I wish the plantains were a little less mushy. I also thought the food was a bit pricey, but I guess everything in Parkville Market is. Overall, this wasn't the best food I've had, but it was still enjoyable.
