This is for the truck. I ate and left no crumbs! Couldn't even take a photo because I couldn't stop eating! Seasoning was on point! Best jumbo shrimp ever! Whiting was nicely done as well. Loved the fries too. Can't speak for the other reviews but my experience was completely different and I will be a repeat customer!

Just had the best catfish and fries from Just Fish at the Jazz Festival, so delicious!! Thank you! My friend said she also liked the shrimp and hush puppies. Cant wait to find ya’ll next year again!

This review is for the main street location !I really saddens me to make this review because of the very first time that I had this place just fish. It was delicious. I had clam strips and fries. Clam strips were made to perfection. Fries were a little undercooked. This is why the next I ordered my fries well done, however they made the claim strips well done and fries soggy. I threw the whole meal away. Noted to myself will try again and make sure I stress only the fries well done not the clam strips which I did and explain that last time they had it in reverse The man who took my order was very apologetic however, when I got my mail, I did not check it before I left ,That was my fault. It was all well done. I threw it away, but this time I called the restaurant spoke with the cook she explained that she may have done that on accident she She apologized and said I could bring it back to have it remade. I explained to her that I was not able to do that at this time. She said she will remake it. The next time I came in this brings me to today. They remade the food after I had to speak with the owner. Explain the situation which is fine. It’s a small business. I do understand that. However She made sure to show me the food before I left, which I ended up, not taking because it was all burnt. I really wish I had of taken a picture of it, but I was just so shocked at the fact that you really burnt these clam strips after all that after all we’ve just gone through, she stated I must want them undercooked and that that’s the regular way they cook them and I said it’s crazy because the first time I had them here they were perfect and every time after that they’ve been horrible. I really hope someone shows them how to make clam strips or whoever the new cookies maybe the cook that I saw the first time isn’t the one who’s been cooking every time since then?

I was a little disappointed Today, I was treating my cousin to some Shrimp from the Main Street in Hartford and was a little taken back he doesn’t eat Tarter Sauce, and preferred Cocktail Sauce, but was told I had to pay .50, which I did!!!! Why is that not a option? At least one? Yes extra I could understand, but why is a choice of condiment being charged?

Honestly love the premise of this place but the experience will leave you disappointed: You will have canceled orders due to items posted not actually being there (I ordered when they opened for anyone thinking they ran out) to orders with drinks being canceled And the drinks being sent anyway just to makes a buck. (It’s insulting) I’ve had to completely reorder meals (from actually reliable places) and pay services twice due to my order being canceled (no call to change order or sub items) and the processing hold on my card was longer than my lunch time. So if you like good juice with half ice in the cup for lunch and the idea of fried shrimp just a memory JUST FISH IS YOUR SPOT.

The food was OK. As a girl who was raised on southern fish fry's, this was a bit disappointing. I ordered the combo of whiting, shrimp, and fries. The shrimp had a strange texture fresh and the flavors could have been enhanced. I spent $20 (5 jumbo shrimp and several pieces of fish). I think it should have been a bit cheaper though when it comes to seafood I'm willing to spend more if the quality matches (in this case it didn't). When it comes to seafood I can be pretty particular, so I likely wont be back.

It is a SAD DAY when Connecticut cannot have a decent place for fish and fries or even fish and onion rings, but "Just Fish" makes it ten times WORSE!First and foremost if a person ORDERS a SANDWICH then THAT is what they should GET, but NO; not only were my husband’s and my orders NOT made into sandwiches, but all we got were four THIN pieces each of BADLY done fried whiting with two slices of low quality bread thrown in; no toasting about them, no lettuce, or tomato, just four TERRIBLY DONE THIN slices of WHITING and two slices of bread per container. The batter on the fish had absolutely NO flavor to it; and the texture of the fish was CHEWY AND DRY!!The fries that I ordered for my husband were barely done AT ALL. They were SOFT and there was NO crispness about them WHATSOEVER! My onion rings were NOT much better because even though it might have SEEMED on the outside that the person tried HARDER to make those well; on the inside they were WET, and the batter was RAW… Daymon Patterson, (CT. Celebrity Food Vlogger channel Daym Drops); would be TERRIBLY disappointed in this place… It was THAT AWFUL!!

No bueno, theres no flavor in the battered , and the shrimos were under cooked and slimy like if the shrimp were old, is not the best sea food , the Chinese seafood from the buffet has a lot more taste and is cheaper. Nice staff but no good food.
