Wow! Check out this GIANT grinder with freshly grilled chicken I ordered from LaRosa's in Hartford. (Keep scrolling through my pics.) It was as long as the table. Thanks so much, Tina! La Rosa's is an Italian deli, lunch, catering and more. They have also been sausage manufacturing since 1928. This is one of those fun South End of Hartford places that some people know about and others need to know more about now. Skip the Subway and support local. You will definitely get a better tasting grinder and some fresh, quality food. I also ordered the Steak Salad and a side of macaroni salad. Totally delicious. "The Steak" had Top Sirloin strips, crumbled blue cheese, onions, tomatoes, on a bed of lettuce. Their balsamic vinaigrette was so good! They also have paninis, signature wraps and weekly lunch specials. There was plenty of inside seating when I arrived, but it was a little after the lunch wave. I took my order home to go and the size of the whole grinder fed three of us. Can't wait to go back and try the Chicken Cutlet Grinder next! Grinders come with your choice of lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers, roasted peppers, olives, onions or pickles. Condiments available are mayo, mustard, spicy mustard, horseradish cream, oil and vinegar, creamy pesto, pesto, ranch, caesar, chipotle mayo and hot sauce. That's a lot of fun right there!
