Larry's Place Restaurant & Lounge

Bought cow foot and rice and peas. It was not tasting good at all. The server was searching around in the pot for what I don’t know, I guess the worst cut of the cow foot because what I got was horrible. Customer service is terrible, the ladies don’t know how to speak to customers.

When you want good Jamaican food that tastes like back home, this is the place to go. It took me years to find a place that cooks good Jamaican food with consistency. I'm so happy I finally found it at Larry's. Keep up the good work guys!😋 I have updated my review: Service very slow late evening and at nights, although you have more servers.

If you’re looking for Quality, Larry’s kitchen is the place, the girls are humble & attentive in their service & their food is great, Curry chicken with some rice & pea with a side of sweet plantains, bomb Dude! Don’t forget the vegetables neither & add extra gravy to your rice. Never disappointed.

Went there for a job with my cousin (we both gave our numbers) and after a lot of calls I ended up getting an interview which I thought I did pretty good on. Later that evening I got a call back from the manager who then asked me if my cousin was FAT or SKINNY. I was so stunned by the question, I still am. I replied with her height because I felt uncomfortable answering such a disgusting question. I didn’t know that they had a weight limit to serve food. I was especially offended because I am fat and it was like a direct slap in the face. After i told her my cousin’s height she proceeded to tell me to tell her that she had an interview the next day. I had no problem with this but my mind wonder back to the morning I called them to set up the interview and I asked them about my cousin (she’s 17) and she said “mi cyah deal wid a 17 year old right now”. So I was left to think that it was because I was bigger in size that I had 0 chances entering there. After telling my cousin and my immediate family about the call, my cousin refused to go to the interview and I was advised by my grandmother to not “step a pinky toe back in that restaurant “ and should not answer them when they call or text. I found this whole interaction funny because in the interview they doubled down on how if I get the job I should have phenomenal customer service but there own manager doesn’t even practice what she preached.
P.S I’m 18 and these are GROWN women.

Before the staff was nice the have new people and it’s been like good 8 plus months these black woman weh work deh mean .. no customers service … I walk in there there was one guy ahead of me then another black girl walk in after me you the the two black woman at the counter greet the black lady who walk in after me and serve her first … I’m light skin not sure it that’s the case but no one greet me or ask me what I want knowing I came before the other black lady that walk in after me I just got so vex and walk out cause I have my money to buy my food so I went else where spend my money.. Thai place need to customers service how to greet and assist customers in order as they enter the store

Food was excellent!!!! Service was decent. They have a lounge section and small seating area seperate not great but worth it for the food.. taste is authentic Jamaican.

I called to ask if they have Fried chicken, before I could place the order she hung up the phone. I call back and she placed me on hold for 25 mins before I hung up. This restaurant was recommended and this is the customer service I received.

I’ve been coming to Larry’s for years! This is where I eat but I don’t know what’s going with this restaurant I don’t know if it’s new management or what! I’ve never experienced a customer service so bad. This server Santina is despicable! Jesus I’ve never seen anything like this. She talks to people like a dog or like we’re begging. Please note this has happened several times! I will never set foot in this restaurant again as long as she is there! This is crazy!!
