I ordered veggie chicken and fried dumplings. I don't know why but the dumpling was removed and refunded a few minutes after, then when I got home with my order, instead of veggie chicken, it was some kind of vegetable filled patty. I told them my name when I picked up my order, and they gave me the right drink, so I don't think I just got someone else's order

I eat gluten-free and was able to enjoy my delicious curry chickpeas, sweet beans, and pumpkin rice with veggies. The sweet beans and curry chickpeas were amazing. ? I’m coming back very soon. Great spot. Some of the best tofu I've ever had. I always go here whenever I'm down near Hartford and I've never had a bad experience -- every single dish here is good. Staff are super super nice and super helpful if you don't understand how the place works (it can be a bit confusing the first time, or alternatively it's very possible I may just be a bit dumb). Can't think of a better veg spot in the area, and especially not for the price.
SOME OF THE BEST FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!!!!!I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could! The owners are very professional and know food well. We tried everything and it was amazing! The food was flavorful down to the last bite. The best part is you do not get that groggy/sluggish feeling you typically have after eating caribbean food. I can't wait to go back and try the Veggie Oxtails! This will be my go to going forward!Thank you Lion's Den for an unforgettable experience!!!!

After driving 4 hrs in the rain I did a quick search for vegetarian where I could meet my husband driving our rental truck. Was delighted with the results. I had tofu, beans and rice. He had ital stew, chick peas and rice. He also got a veggie pattie. We shared as we do. The server was very nice and explained everything, I was delirious and wanting to read something off the wall but she set me straight. Even with smalls there was enough leftover for another day! If I am in Hartford again, I'll definitely go back!!Vegetarian options: Multiple options.
