The best sandwiches and best customer service in Hartford...Curt and his fellow staff members are artists in creating the best grinders whether hot or cold.I recommend this deli to anyone I see. It makes Subway look like a bunch of amateurs. Try this deli once and you'll never go anywhere else.

Parked in the lot across the street and noticed the creamery sign. Was in the mood for a vanilla shake so I went inside this deli/ice cream shop to check it out. Glad i did. Premium ice cream from a local CT ice cream company. My vanilla shake was outstanding. As was the service. Totally legit place. Highly recommend.

"Plan A" was Plan b Burger Bar in Hartford: Closed. Tried City Steam: Closed due to burst pipe. Met a guy on the street who recommended Local Creamery & Deli. Got a delicious burger at a decent price! Great, friendly service. I think I have a new go-to place when downtown!

"Plan A" was Plan b Burger Bar in Hartford: Closed. Tried City Steam: Closed due to burst pipe. Met a guy on the street who recommended Local Creamery & Deli. Got a delicious burger at a decent price! Great, friendly service. I think I have a new go-to place when downtown!

I had a great experience! It was Easter Sunday and I was headed somewhere else but they were closed. I tried two other places... both closed. "A man on the street" suggested "that deli", which turned out to be Local Deli & Creamery. I had my heart set on a burger and was in luck! Not only do they serve deli sandwiches and Mediterranean dishes, they make a great double cheeseburger (I got mine with bacon). And I highly recommend ending your meal with a delicious piece of cake! The server was friendly, the food was good and served quickly, and the prices were reasonable. There was a constant flow of customers but it never got crowded or crazy when I was there. They are primarily takeout I believe, but also deliver and there was a small counter with three chairs. My new "go-to" downtown!

Went last night. I do not have high expectations about shawarma, but do enjoy them. Was very happy with the chicken wrap and platter. The cook/cashier/clerk had wonderful customer service. Wish I would have taken photos of the food, but remembered only after I devoured the food. Would definitely return if I ever go back to Hartford.
