I wanted to try something different from my regular grinder and tried the chicken bacon & ranch grinder. The first issue was she toasted the bread way too long and it came out black and burnt. She continued to prepare that sandwich, as if she was still going to sell it to me. And then ask her if she can make the sandwich over, she then grab another grinder bread and she toasted the bread and she took the old burnt sandwich and scraped the meat off the old sandwich onto the new sandwich. Very unacceptable. When ask if she can prepare the sandwich over, she gave an attitude. I just don’t believe she thought I would eat a sandwich with meat from burnt bread. Be careful people to make sure you’re not getting reused meat in your sandwiches or salads. I will NEVER eat from there again.

So so so yummy. I always love a good deli especially when you know they make everything fresh. Quick and easy food. I wish they were open longer I would def order at like 11pm considering none of the other places around UConn are ever open past 9. Prices are fair. Pictured is the lox bagel, turkey and ham sandwich (fav), philly cheesesteak, and a hummus sandwich. Also side note I’m from jersey and we are known for good delis and sandwiches so it’s nice to have some of that here even though it’s “ny deli”

So disappointing. I was in Hartford for work. I stopped in here one morning to get a bagel and hash browns. Having lived in New York, for a deli to have New York in the title, I at least expected a quality bagel. It was terrible. Worse than a store bought bagel, they only had plain, and they used store bought cream cheese. The hash browns were frozen and they just defrosted it and served. McDonald's would've been better. They will not get any more business from me.
