PIGS EYE IS THE BESTTTT! To start, there is never a cover charge, which in Hartford, that alone is huge! From the bartenders to the bar backs to the bouncers, everyone here is amazing. If you’re cool and respectful, you’ll be met with the same energy. Also special shoutout to Alyssa and Jazz! They’re the best!!
No food, I think some of the posted comments are about Sally's downstairs. Great drinks and view from roof top, full service bar (I had Cincoro Añjeo), very dive bar in all the right ways. Sally's is an excellent follow up for food!
situated above a soul food place kinda near the Wolf Pack arena, the Pig's Eye has all the trappings expected of good watering hole: smoking patio (though having a salient lack of butt receptacles, pool tables and a good selection of taps and bottles to satisfy the discerning hockey aficionado or run of the mill drunkard.
