My boyfriend and I came across this food truck at the garlic festival. The prices were kind of high for the portion that was given. I actually didn’t even realize that this place was vegan, that was my fault for not reading. The food definitely tasted good but my boyfriend was highly disappointed by the sizing of the food there wasn’t that much “meat” it was mainly rice. I’m not sure if I would personally try again. But that shouldn’t stop you from trying! The woman that served us was nice as well.

As a die-hard Carnivore, I was shocked that I enjoyed my 'Everyting' meal as much as I did... Flavors explode, textures couldn't convince me that I wasn't eating meat... GIGI, you were more than professionally courteous and great food and pleasant attitude have me coming back for more... I tried some of the Rasta Pasta and Orange Ginger Chick'n at the Coventry Farmers Market and it was soooo good! Though I haven't been yet, I look forward to going to the actual resteraunt location.

I have never been to their brick and mortar location but have had them a few times at local vegan events. Am in love with the Rasta Pasta but everything is so freakin good!! Will have to travel to CT some day and eat at the restaurant :)

You guys are slow for not having a phone number .I cant even order pickup online . I live out of state and was about to come check you guys out because of the 5 star rating but I literally can't even place an order with your kitchen smh , It's 2024 gotta get that together immediately, I could only imagine the amount of business your losing -$ :(

Amazing take out place. I got a sampler plate, came with meatballs, carrots, chickpeas, plantains, vegan chicken of some sort i think. Each bite was better than the last. NOTE: you have to call in your order, you can’t just walk up. Do it though, you’ll love it.

Rasta-rant is fantastic food whether you are vegan or not. Try the meatballs (a little spicy) and the ginger chick'n (on the sweater side), for sure, but the chick pea and potatoes and both of the pastas are also a hit with my crew. These guys have a tent at Hartford Athletic games and attend special events like Taste of Hartford and Rhode Island Vegfest. Chef Gigi does vegan dining that isn't just burgers and bar food. This is top shelf Jamaican food and it is worth it, everytime.

5/5!! Chef Gigi makes the most amazing delicious vegan food you will ever taste. So flavorful & filling (filing a good way, not a heavy way). They used clean ingredients. They serve good portions for the price, and offer many options. Not only is the food out of this world, but the owners Chef Gigi and M.A. are some of the kindest, genuine, and hardworking business owners i have seen. They want to spread the love and healthy vegan food to the our communities. If you get the chance to support this small business you will not regret it!
