Do NOT eat here, they are rude and microagressive towards Black customers. This is my 3rd time trying to eat there, 2nd time leaving without food. Eat next door at the Mediterranean food spot. Trust me it’s not worth the headache.

The last few times I've been to Saigon it's been very good. Happy that they made it through the tough times of COVID, likely that much harder in downtown Hartford. I will say I've read several reviews about the poor/mean customer service which I have also personally observed since coming here for a decade. However, I must say the front of the house staff (as to not call out anyone specific) has really calmed down. Lately when I visit, I haven't heard anything unpleasant coming from them. Highly recommend for a quick, affordable and tasty lunch option downtown. Just a note though, it is still cash only. $10-$15 bucks will get you a nice meal and drink.

Wow rating continues to plummet, been going here since they were in the basement of Richardson Mall mid 90's..the owner continues to be unprofessional and rude to certain customers. Food is usually good but service really need improvement..once she wouldn't let my 6 year daughter use the bathroom until I actually paid for my meal..lady I've been supporting you for almost 30 years really!!!

the people who work there was really rude and told me and my sister that we couldn't order anymore chicken wings even though we was paying for it she said no more chicken for us then the another customer came and order chicken wing and the lady was rude to even her employee she looked really sad and the guy was rude as well because he had to cook the food

I had my first meal from Saigon today. I was very impressed. I was greeted warmly, and politely by who I believe is the long time owner. My food was ready waiting for me when I got thereSoon after ordering. The food looked just as good as it did in the pictures! When I got home to eat it, the taste was even better great quality and amazing flavor! My sister really enjoyed her meal as well. I will definitely be back! Prices are also great with larger portions. it is definitely worth the cash only.

Called to order lunch and found the staff incredibly rude. I just moved in across the street and they could have had a regular customer out of me. They also don’t accept cards apparently, only cash. The woman on the phone barely let me get a word in edge-wise. I was calling placing an order for two people and she assumed I was placing an order for one person and trying to substitute things to make one meal, but she wasn’t really listening to me before cutting me off and going on about how they don’t do this and don’t do that and how my food will be expensive. Needless to say, I will find another restaurant within walking distance to frequent where the staff are friendlier.
the best korean / chinese food in ct !although they arent open for to long it builds up the anticipation to want it ! i feel like im rewarding my self when i get the chance to have saigon ! spicy chicken is my go too !!

Worse Chinese food ever had. This is a picture of the spare ribs , taste like nothing. She was rude on , aside from that the food taste so bad. They only accept cash , no refunds. Please don’t go here

Very good tasting food.. you must try to know waht your missing (its worth a try).Everyone I introduce to this restaurant always go back .I suggest trying the spicy chicken with fried rice(its not spicy at all)ITS A MUST GO TO PLACE!!!!

Went on my lunch break, ordered Gen. Tso chicken lunch special. The taste was great, one of the only places that doesn't include a drink with the lunch special and that it still cost about 15 dollars. Other than the cost, Saigon was a home run.Parking: Had to park in a lot and pay 2 dollars to park.
