I found Semilla as part of the Central CT Coffee Crawl. I got a simple iced latte and loved how bold the coffee was. I took my coffee to-go, but would have loved to stay because the cafe is so warm and cozy, and beautiful! I can’t wait to come back and try something new!

Impressed is an understatement. Since being back in the office three days a week, I’ve been trying all of the local coffee shops and this by far ranks top tier in downtown.
I got the coconut latte with almond milk and their classic breakfast sandwich. I’ve never had such a flavorful latte. As I waited, I was incredibly impressed with the different media they had from local organizations, movements, and news.
This is worth a stop on a regular cadence.

Lovely friendly cafe, has a public art supply area and studio to make crafts as well as a free public library. Many resources and newspapers and games to play and things to look at.
We got a coconut latte and it was definitively the best coconut latte I've ever had. Very fantastic vibes and good food and drink.

Loved the visit. They have a unique selection of drinks. Not just your standard cafe, you can really tell they care about what they do. Environment is great and the staff was very friendly. The next time I’m in town I will be back!!!
A very community oriented, coffee shop with great options for a variety of diets and interesting drinks. I enjoyed the artwork Work and the customer service and it felt like a great gathering space.

I found Semilla on Instagram after a few of my friends told me about it and I finally went and now I’m obsessed. This place literally feels like a hug. Their IG bio says it’s a “neighborhood living room” and that’s exactly what it is. It’s so cozy, the furniture is comfy, the books are such a nice touch, and there are so many cool things to look at. The vibe is just really beautiful and peaceful.
Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. I love that a lot of the sandwiches are on coco bread—it goes with everything. The baked goods are so good and the drinks are even better. My new hyper fixation is the iced coconut latte. I could drink it every day.
Also, the guys that work there are super friendly. This place is a whole experience. 10/10.
