Felt a bit out of it as mostly to go orders but the service and food was good. Didn’t like the chairs piled on the tables by the counter though

The food Is pretty good. The service isn't bad. It's just a bit unorganized and quite slow. They only accept cash, but they do have a ATM area. You can differently have a conversation and talk. It's in a church cafeteria. I would encourage. Trying to at least once. The turkey wings are my favorite from this location.

Absolutely the best breakfast I've had in years. Good service, happy people, amazing food. The place could use an upgrade but all in all it's a very family oriented place.

My biggest issue was that there was no AC & it was 100 degrees that day. I guess it’s good for the locals & walkers only. I could say a lot more but the owners really need to provide AC & not commercial fans.

Sister’s is a small and cozy neighborhood cafe located in the north end of Hartford that feels very homey. Great food, good vibes, and friendly service. The menu is a blend of Jamaican and Black American comfort food. I started to get the ackee and salt fish but stuck with an old southern favorite my grandma used to make. The fish and grits with a side of eggs didn’t disappoint! The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly and the grits were buttery and soft. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town.

The food is amazing but the customer service is insanely bad. I literally just called in for a pickup order and she took my order and literally just ended the call. I was still speaking she didn’t even say if the order was accepted just said ok and hung up. I’m so confused. Debating if I even wanna drive the twenty minutes to go pick it up now. Why not train your staff on how to be courteous and customer friendly? No matter how good your food is you still need to maintain some sort of customer service standard. Rude!!! And she sounded annoyed to have to take the call to begin with.

I order from the all the time. They used to be great. My bacon taste like it was fried in fish grease. I will make my own breakfast from now on.

The grits had way too much butter and the fish and eggs breakfast sandwich were ok but I was expecting a well seasoned and flavorful fried piece of whiting.

Amazing food! Wonderful staff. Excellent service. The food is fresh and SO delicious, the chef is a master of her craft and our waitress was very helpful. We ordered the Jerk Chicken, the Curry Goat and the Omelette. Lunch today was a delightful experience and we will definitely be back very soon!! ❤️🙏✨

Breakfast with them for the 2nd time was just as good as the 1st time. You'll definitely enjoy breakfast if you're in that area .
