I had such a great time at The Social House in downtown Hartford! The first time I went was for my friend’s birthday party, and we honestly had a blast — the setups were so creative, and every corner was perfect for pictures. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I had the fish and grits which was amazing!

When I came back the second time, they even gave me “tester” food items to choose from after my meal which was very nice of the owner! That kind of hospitality really stood out to me. It’s definitely one of those places where you can just have fun, laugh, and be creative. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different to do in the area!

10 out of 10!

All I did was inquire about a music video timing and pricing and was met with passive aggression when I gave a suggestion. If you take offense to people comparing thier options you shouldn't be in business because that's literally just business lol

Amazing service, friendly staff, & great food!!! 10/10 would recommend, if you have a chance to stop by, they will not disappoint. Daphne & Chef J were the best.

We ordered tickets from Hoolie Entertainment and found out they were canceled and refunded. We were disappointed but Daphney and Jennifer saved our date night. They were so kind and accommodating. We got tickets directly from social house and got to pick out our paintings. Top notch customer service, awesome drinks and the food was delicious!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better night. We truly appreciate your professionalism and service. We loved the music too!!! We’ll be back!!!!

Great place for kids. But was very disappointed in the service ordered my food at 7 and had to cancel it at 9:30 pm due it never coming out. Left hungry. Not once did anyone apologize or explain why our food was late or never came. We were in a large group so we were being very patient but this place need to be organized better. Open sooner for large parties...hire more servers...be better prepared.. again this would of been a great experience but drinks were week and food never came... I hope this review is taking into consideration to improve what could be a beautiful place😘😍 and leave a pitcher of water on the table we were very thirsty lol

I came here on a Saturday with a small group for girls night, and this was one of the best experiences I've had in a while.
We bought tickets in advance online for paint & sip plus the selfie museum, and one of the owners greeted us at the door. She was extremely sweet and accommodating.
The drawing collection we looked at was so creative and fun and unique!
We did the selfie museum first, which was on 2 floors, then we sat down to paint. Bottomless drinks started at 8pm, and I also ordered jerk tacos which were sooooo good.
The music was perfect and added to the amazing vibes.
Overall, I absolutely loved everything about this place and the owners!!

I recently celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday at Social House, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. If you haven’t had the chance to visit, you’re truly missing out on a unique venue. Social House is a selfie museum featuring beautifully designed photo backgrounds, offering over ten distinct options for capturing memorable moments. Each background is equipped with props that enhance the authenticity of the scenes.

Although we didn’t have the opportunity to dine in, the enticing food options certainly caught my eye, and I could see many DoorDash drivers arriving for pickups, suggesting the food is highly regarded. The owner was incredibly welcoming and made my daughter feel special on her big day. I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend checking it out!

Social House owes this group of ladies nothing! From the music to the dope back drops and props to the selection of paintings offered to the food to the drinks to the hosts and to the overall vibe it was a great experience. If you want to have a night out or a party this is a dope place to check out. A couple of things to know in advance is that the tickets are usually bought online and make sure you are there on time for your slotted ticket especially if you want to use the selfie portion. Parking is in a lotted area a few paces down by the Residence Inn and costed about $9 for the time I was there. I went on a Friday and it was nice because it was one other party there besides ours and you have to scan your ticket before entering. The museum portion was for the first hour and the last two was paint, bottomless drinks and food. And again I must say the food was on point! Hot and Fresh… definitely check out this place if you haven’t

Went for a friends birthday and was disappointed . We got the sip and paint package was $70 each and included open bar for two hours , painting and access to the photo opps. However when we got there we were told we had to wait an hour until 8 to start drinking . For the area we were painting at it’s suppose to be 21 and up but a children’s party was going on right next to us and they were going in and out through the night , and we’re set up for painting in our area . I ordered an appetizer that didn’t come for an hour and three paintings were really cheap / kiddish looking . We also weren’t able to start on that right away and waited about an hour for that so we decided to take advantage of the photos which also had kids everywhere . Our area was literally right next to a kids party so it almost just felt like going to a kids party with a bar . We don’t mind the kids but felt like it could’ve been better organized . We had to listen to kids music the entire night and were told that they couldn’t change the music when asked . For the prices we paid we could’ve thee a sip and paint at home and ordered canvas from Amazon with a better outcome. It is a nice place for pics and the food was decent but I wouldn’t go back. My friends also said they saw two mice by the money photo op area before they left . I opted for this rather than muse despite the negative reviews because the open bar and photos but it’s really not worth it .The bartender was really nice about everything but that’s really it . Wasn’t impressed and looks better on socal media . Has some potential with changes .

What a vibe!!! I was looking for fun restaurant that my boyfriend and I can celebrate our 3 year anniversary and I am so glad we ended up at Social House!! The staff were so kind and welcoming! They surprised us with desert when we told them it was our anniversary! The photo oops are so cute and unique. THE BEST CHICKEN AND WAFFLES I EVER HAD! Can’t wait to come back again!

Our experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The food was absolutely delicious, and the selfie museum was a lot of fun, but the service and attention to detail were disappointing. Of the 10 drinks on the menu, only 5 were available, and the ones we did get didn’t even match the descriptions. For example, the lemonade was supposed to have muddled mint but instead had a chemically minty flavor and no fresh mint at all. The menus were also tattered and dirty. Several items we ordered were unavailable, including the crab cakes, and portions didn’t match the menu—3 strips of bacon instead of 4, and 2 eggs instead of 3. My food arrived 30 minutes after my friends’, and three items we ordered either weren’t put in or never arrived. Great food and a fun atmosphere, but the service needs serious improvement.

I went here for a friend's birthday party and it was so much fun. We did the sip and paint + selfish museum. We had a blast. They had a lot of different themes for the pics and videos. The backgrounds were really nice. The sip and paint were nice, the drinks were unlimited, and the different canvas were pre drawn, which made it easier for some people. The food was good, the drinks were good and the service was great.
