We had both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party for our wedding at Sorella in December 2025, and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, the decor was beautiful, and the guests all had a great time. They were very easy-going to work with and took care of every detail. They were able to seamlessly transition from our small, intimate rehearsal dinner of 30 people in their private room to the welcome party upstairs with over 65 guests. I would absolutely recommend Sorella for any private or semi-private events in Hartford, CT.

Took my wife for her birthday to Sorella, super nice people and the atmosphere was great. The food in the other hand was not ,the food was poor on salt and taste. It was undercooked for the meatballs and shrimp was chewy. My wife got back to hotel and got sick. My decision to come to CT was based on this restaurant. We reside in New Hampshire.

My shrimp scampi had so much oil I was scared the US government was going to kick down the door any moment to invade my plate. Litteral cups of oil.
Tarimisu was solid except for it felt like it's base was made from the coffee grounds left in a coffee maker.
Meatballs were fantastic. 10/10
Service was attentive and good though.

I recently attended an event at Sorella in Hartford, and it was absolutely fantastic. This was my second visit, and I loved it just as much as the first, the food is consistently amazing. The gnocchi, the meatballs, and the chicken parm were all outstanding, full of rich flavor and clearly made with care.
And I have to mention the cannolis… truly out of this world. Easily some of the best I’ve ever had.
The staff were just as impressive. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We were in the downstairs room, and it was the perfect cozy atmosphere for any gathering. warm, intimate, and beautifully set up.
I’d recommend Sorella in a heartbeat for both dining out and hosting events. It’s truly a gem in Hartford.
