Tried this place out based on the rating. I ordered the make your own bowl to go with chicken bites, white rice, crack and mack, and candied yams. The order came with veggies instead which I didn't order. The food itself was okay. The chicken didn't have much flavor. The veggies were frozen and steamed. The crack mack had no crack (lacking flavor) and the soul sauce which costs $1 extra was underwhelming. Would recommend if you want something familiar but don't expect to be towed by the food. No rating on the atmosphere as I ordered delivery.

The Bridges Experience
My first soul bowl was everything & then some!! I got the soul rice, Krack Mac & cheese, candied yams & fried chicken bites. Everything was so flavorful. The sweet potato cheesecake with the Oreo crust was PERFECTION! It was creamy & delicious. Deff recommend! 💯✨
The Hartford location continues to drop the ball, the food is just mediocre.

EVERYTHING WAS OILY… the shrimp was RAW The chicken was RAW the soul rice WASN’T cooked properly like I would NEVER EVER go to the soul bowl in Hartford again. I wish I can get my money. ONLY GO TO THE SOUL BOWL IN WEST HARTFORD NEXT TO HUNGRY CRAB !!
