A gem tucked away behind Constitution Plaza in downtown Hartford. Starting with the decor, ambiance and the customer service, we were thoroughly happy with our experience. The hot chocolate I ordered was made exactly as I ordered. Most places they make it too sweet even after I specify less sugar. Here it was made just right. Large, spacious and very modern. Family friendly and great place to eat and meet. Definitely coming back.
Coffee is great. Knowledgeable baristas with average pricing. However, the bar charges a $10 minimum on cards that is not listed on the menu and not enforced in the coffee shop. Essentially, they will not permit you to purchase a single beer on a card which is unfortunate since I work less than a block away.
Went here for lunch Tuesday with my partner who working nearby has eaten here a few times before, as well as having drinks after work with co-workers. They have a bar that opens after 4PM.
