Cozy atmostphere with nice outdoor seating. I really enjoy the way they cook eggs , always perfect balance in their sandwhiches. The coffee was really tasty. Wish there was more places like this around Hartford support local and there will be! ✌️

Great coffee shop located in the Capitol area of Hartford. I had the iced americano which was bold and solid flavor. Trendy & chill vibes inside.

Wow! Didn't expect to find such a good coffee spot here. Tried the maple latte and it was delicious. Coffee comes out quick and the spot is nice to work as well. Recommend!

The saltiest service industry staff I’ve ever encountered. The food is exorbitantly overpriced for the quality

Super cute cafe! Lots of people around so it felt really cozy, I loved the atmosphere. They had a small board with notes from customers and events happening in CT which I thought was really nice. Their coffee is amazing, I had the spanish latte and I loved it, can’t wait to go back for more.
I was worried parking would be an issue but I went after work on a weekday and had no problems, not sure how it gets on weekends though.

Loved it here! I was in town for work and was looking for a cafe to hunker down for a couple hours. I got an iced coffee and a breakfast burrito, both were bomb! Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

Beautiful coffee shop with a nice seating area and clearly a neighborhood staple as we saw some firefighters picking up their coffee there as well. The chai latte was good and the service was fast!

Popped in here while in town for a music festival. I was ELATED that they had vegan options! The vegan burrito was amazing. I also got an iced latte which was delicious. Good quality beans! Highly recommend.

I recently visited Story and Soil and had a great experience. The interior is super cool, with a trendy, artsy vibe that makes it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The outdoor seating is also a great option when the weather is nice! I tried the espresso tonic, and it was incredible! My sister got an iced latte, which she loved as well – smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Overall, Story and Soil is a fantastic place for coffee lovers. Highly recommend checking it out!

Sour espresso. I cannot stand an artisan coffee shop that cannot even pull a proper cup of espresso. Calibrate your machine, get better beans, use filtered water, or clean your equipment. It's not a rocket science. Don't insult your customers, do your job right.
