The Flying Monkey Grill & Bar

The flying monkey bar and grill did not disappoint!!! We went there on Valentines night and this was my first time, from the moment we stepped in the restaurant we were greeted by some lovely host then we were seated. There was actually a live entertainment happening as well which was a plus and that set the mood. Right away a waiter came and took our orders while we waited and enjoyed the music. That lady can sing!!! I had the bourbon salmon with sweet potatoes and asparagus while my fiance had the chicken Alfredo. The bourbon salmon was lovely everything was on point!!. If you ever needed a great place to wine and dine go check out the flying monkey bar and grill next time!!!

I ordered the salmon and shrimp over pasta on 2/10/26 for $42 and I could not have been more dissatisfied. The shrimp were dried out and tasteless, besides being small. The pasta was stuck together like glue and the salmon was tasteless despite how wonderful the menu madi it sound. The only thing worse than the food was the service. Totally inattentive for the price of the food. Go there for the music but you get better satisfaction front McDonald's as far as the food goes.

This was my first time here. The place is covered in monkey decorum which I absolutely love and if you have any monkey lovers in your life, bring them there. You can purchase monkeys at the door. The bathroom even has monkey themed wallpaper. Now to the food. The food was delicious. My daughter and I ordered a few of odds and ends. We ordered the Delta Donuts, Flying Monkey Wings 8ct Spicy Monkey flavored, Flying Monkey Wings 8ct BBQ, and two B-52 Burritos. We were so stuffed after eating the donuts and most of the wings that we took the burritos home. The burritos do reheat perfectly so they are good the next day. The BBQ flavor was your basic BBQ and the spicy monkey was an interesting flavor. I definitely liked it. The service there was really good. We were seated right away. Our waitress was funny and checked in on us periodically but didn’t interrupt us if she noticed we were in depth chatting. We definitely recommend this place and I will be back to try the different flavors of wings and the other interesting items on the menu.

I don’t recommend this establishment. My girlfriend and I came here for a live band and had a great experience, which is why we returned two weeks later. Unfortunately, our second visit was completely different. When we walked in we were abruptly told we “had to give the table back in two hours” due to a so-called music policy that was never mentioned before and is not posted on their website. We felt rushed the entire meal and couldn’t even enjoy our dinner. Meanwhile, we overheard our waitress tell the table behind us they would receive a 30-minute warning—something we were never offered. We dine out often and typically spend $120–$200 per visit, so this was especially disappointing. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism made us feel unwelcome. As an LGBTQ couple, it’s hard not to question whether that played a role. We will not be returning

I appreciate the staff and management on their attention to details for my mom's birthday. Junior and the wait staff made sure our dinner was on point from seating to going the extra mile on the birthday cake- as always they made magic happen. Thank you for making our special occasion an amazing experience and memory.

Celebrated my grandmothers 86th birthday here a few years ago and she asked to celebrate her 91st there. Service and atmosphere are great- warm, friendly, fun. Great food and drinks! Stay for the singing and live performance- wonderful atmosphere!

I came to the bar by myself, which already felt vulnerable. After sitting in my spot for over an hour and ordering an appetizer, a meal, dessert, and multiple drinks, I was asked to move to accommodate a reservation of four. This was confusing, as there were four open seats available across the bar, and I was nearly ready to cash out.

Being asked to move left me feeling embarrassed in the moment. Another guest kindly offered comfort when she was also told she would need to leave by 8. While it initially felt personal, I understand this may simply be how reservations are handled here.

The food, drinks, and bartender were excellent. However, the overall experience did not feel particularly hospitable, and it is not how I would choose to treat a guest.

When I left, no one from the reservation had arrived, which made the request feel unnecessary in hindsight.
