I've been hearing so many great things about this spot that I just had to visit. The location is small & hard to miss. It's a 'Grab & Go' so there's no indoor seating, however there are two outdoor tables if you absolutely need to eat on site.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. They gave me plenty of recommendations for how to order vegan.
The food was AMAZING. Bursting with flavor, color, & spice. They also have plenty of vegan options, so I will return. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area.

After seeing all the videos of the Cheyney fish sandwich on social media I finally had to try it for myself. I will admit I was a little skeptical about all of the hype around this sandwich. But let me tell you..the was the most AMAZING FISH SANDWICH I have ever had in my life. The flavor, seasoning, crunch, the combination of the coco bread, aioli sauce was out of the world, no cap! The jerk chicken cheesesteak was fire! Definitely one of the best cheesesteaks Iāve had in my life and in this area. Iām gonna keep this place in my weekly rotation. šš½šš½

Leadership. Vibes. Ambiance. Kindness. Black Excellence. A privilege to be able to frequent this wonderful, eloquent and welcoming establishment. The gentleman who runs this joint is a gem in the area, and for that, we should all tip our hat(s). 215 has produced a diamond, and the 860 gets to elevate the value. We appreciate you Boyd, Mrs. & the whole 881 squad. Excellent food, even better because it's elevated with a positive and lovely spirit and energy. #Paz

DON'T waste your money or time, you'll be better eaten food from off the street. I got the oxtails, I've been eating and cooking oxtails since I've been 12 yrs old, they do not clean their oxtails and they oxtails look and taste nothing like they advertise, jerk wings had me feeling like where the hell is the jerk, they were so dry I couldn't even swallow them with water. Beef patties taste like they were made days ago with old ground beef and the plantains out of all things weren't even cooked fully. Very poor place to spend your money, I called to complain they wouldn't answer the phone. Yes I'll stick to the other 30 Jamaican spots around.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this Caribbean spot after finding a Groupon and reading some solid reviews. The place is small, but the vibe was goodāmusic playing, friendly faces, and the man at the front (possibly the owner) had a great, positive energy. He even gave us a couple of free samples while we waited, which we appreciated.
I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the food didnāt live up to the experience. I ordered the oxtail, which I was excited about, but it ended up being really blandāwe didnāt even finish it. But the bigger issue came with my boyfriendās Philly cheesesteak sandwich. As soon as we sat down in the park to eat, he found a hair in it. He was already upset, but tried to give it another shot with the second half (since it was cut)āonly to find *another* hair a few bites in. That completely ruined the meal for him.
I truly wanted to leave a glowing review because the staff was kind, and I respect the mission and spirit of supporting Black-owned businesses. But for a food business to thrive, hygiene and consistent flavor are non-negotiable. I hope this was just a one-time slip, because the hospitality is thereābut unfortunately, our experience was more wasteful and disappointing than enjoyable.
