Started with the spinach and artichoke dip and Maria's guacamole, both solid and flavorful. Our table ordered an arrange of items from the shrimp and avocado salad, the classic angus burger and steak tacos. Burgers and salad were great, the steak tacos not so great, but not awful. Haven't been here in YEARS, but will definitely go back and try again. Only complain, music WAY too loud for the dining room, constantly shouting to speak and be heard at the table.

The service was attentive, but having one bartender and a completely packed restaurant meant our drinks took half an hour. When our food arrived, the vegetables were so saturated with broth the potatoes had disintegrated in it and were completely inedible. The chicken on top was barely salvageable and not even close to worth the price point. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of food, though our server was marvelous and so kind. Unfortunately, the service alone doesn't warrant a return trip. Take your business elsewhere if you're looking for quality food.

The ricotta toast apprtizer was outstanding. The y were very busy (game night) but our server did a great job making sure we were taken care of. Will definitely return.

Have been hear a few times years ago and it was very good, this time was very different. We sat at bar and it took a lengthy amount of time to just order a drink, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The appetizer (whipped ricotta) was not good, we both took a bite and didn't eat anymore. It was messy and tasted like toast with cream cheese and jelly. Dinner was fish tacos and brick chicken, both lacked flavor and presentation. Rice with tacos looked/tasted like it came from a frozen bag. Thought at least desert (“carrot cake” would be good but no, we ended up with breakfast, a giant waffle with ice cream loaded with frosting. Unfortunately this restaurant no longer lives up to its expectations. Hopefully they turn it around. One positive was that the wine was nice.

Hostess and wait staff excellent and loved the themed-happy hour menu. We also ordered off the regular menu and everything was delicious. Will go back if in Hartford area again

Took a group of 8 colleagues visiting from out of town to dinner at Trumbull Kitchen. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Would return and would recommend to others.

Overall the experience was good, excellent service. The food was good, but really lacked flavor, maybe it was the dish I ordered

Great experience. Our server was attentive and checked back frequently to make sure everything was to our liking. I have the tuna which was excellent. My wife had shrimp tacos which she really enjoyed. Great spot for a quick meal before our show. We'll be back!

This was a really great experience. It is so reasonably priced for such good food in an urban setting. We work quite shocked that the food was as good as it was. I particularly liked the portion sizes which were reasonable and not overbearing. We also had cocktails and wine which were great. The tuna entree was terrific.
