So I ordered a half Italian grinder extremely disappointed considering $14 for a half to have four pieces of mortadella. The rest was ham Cappy Salami, I didn’t pay 14 bucks for a sandwich that should’ve been about seven bucks. Bread was split in half barely any oil and vinegar would never recommend.

Amazing!!! Friendly staff too! They homemake everything and probably one of the best chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had! Thank you

As I am writing this review I am crushing the meatball Parm with added onions that I just got from the twisted Italian Café. I called ahead, it was ready fast it tastes amazing, The woman behind the counter was pleasant and attentive I wish I lived closer to come here more often!

Great if you want to pay $8 for 26 pieces of pasta! The owner was adamant about not hearing our feedback that our 4 year old was still hungry after eating here.

I have been a fan of this place since they opened. It's by far, and I'm not exaggerating, the best Italian food I've ever had. I have gone to a lot of Italian places in my life, fancy restaurants, regular types, whole in the wall, always searching for a good meal. This place is IT! Where do I start, located inside Parkvilles Market (Personal Favorite), there is this gem. My go to is "The Bolognese", it is so flavorful and good that it has become the dish that I judge everything else, like if we eat somewhere I would say "...it was good but not better than getting the Bolognese at T.I". The price for it is over $20 which is not cheap, but trust me, it is beyond worth it. There is a lot of food too and I usually eat 2 meals out of it so it is actually a great deal. The grinders are also amazing, my personal favorite is a chicken sandwich called the Americano which is not in the menu but if you ask nicely they make it for you. The chicken parm is to die for. The full size if for like3 to 4 people and it has a lot of meat. Another thing is that they always have specials. One time they had Mac n Cheese and similar to the Bolognese, it was the best one I have had in my life. My daughter, who this is her favorite pasta dish and believe she is an expert on the subject, also calls it the best Mac n Cheese she ever had. The crew there is super friendly and always welcoming. I can't say enough about this place.

They no longer offer the Smash burger grinder. "Not worth the hassle" is what we were told. Grinders we purchased today okay but not 5 star.

I live in Newington and I'm 73. My wife had read (somewhere) that PARKVILLE MARKET was offering delivery service but I never thought they would come as far as Newington. I'm glad they did ( and do) I ordered the Crazy Bolognese and in my opinion, was crazy delicious !! It's everything I want in a pasta-bowl/dish. I will get it again and cant wait to try new dishes and salads as well Thanks

Surprisingly good dessertsAt parkville market, just finished a fairly good meal and on my passing I found this place offering a giant chocolate chip cookie gelato sandwich. That ticked all my boxes for an over the top dessert, so I picked that up. Girlfriend got the Pizzella cannoli, because why not?The Ice cream sandwich was exactly the sweet treat one would expect. The cookies were chocolate laden, nothing special in terms of cookies but solid. the vanilla gelato was creamy and sweet. The portion was massive, I could only manage to eat half of this giant cookie sandwich until I had to tap out.The pizzella cannoli was really good as well. The licorice flavor of the pizzella worked well with the cannoli cream's sweetness. The cannoli cream was gritty, but had all the proper flavors of a good cannoli.Based solely on the desserts, this place is very generous with the portions and the taste is pretty good overall. Compared to some of the other dessert-y places in the market, I think these guys are solid contenders.
