We had ordered a Margahrita pizza and we also wanted to try their scallops and shrimp on the hot stone. Pizza was delicious and the scallops and shrimp were equally delightful. The order came with a side of potatoes and zucchini. These are great as well. The ambiance is nice. I highly recommend!! Overall is so good

Love this place! I've since moved from CT, but when I travel back for work, I always try to have dinner here at least once. The pizzas are so good! My favorite is the prosciutto and arugula. It's salty, peppery, lemony and the balsamic adds a nice little acidic flavor. Great space, I usually sit at the bar, great drinks.

Went for happy hour and good selection of options. Normally don’t head here but nice unexpected surprise with good atmosphere. Bar space was a little small but nice place especially if going before a show

You have to try V's Trattoria! The food is absolutely ambrosial. One of our favorite dishes is the Eggpant Parmigiana especially because it is not covered in mozzerela cheese. There are many other delicious choices as our guests enjoyed the Pasta al Roberto (with chicken) and the Grand Marnier Salmon. We also liked that V's drink menu included some local craft beer choices. Our server was very attentive and accomodating. We also appreciate and felt comfortable dining in a space that had a modern yet not formal feel. Seating is socially distanced so the four of us felt very safe. All in all, a very memorable evening out in the great city of Hartford.

Would love to eat here sometime when we're a bit safer from this virus. I'm actually related to Rob though we've never met. My maternal grandmother was an Iudica. His mother's father, Mike, was my grandmother's brother. Hopefully we'll get to meet you Rob. Linda

Didn't order any food but just had a couple cocktails, which were very lovely. The bartender and the rest of the staff were also very nice. The space was large and there was outdoor seating so everyone can be safely social distant. I would come back here again and try some food. They had a wood burning fire oven that you could see from the main dining room and the chef flipping the pizza dough, wish we came here for dinner.

Great and tasty food, I like the ambience this spot has, and the workers were super friendly. I will definitely visit here next time.

We had a very early reservation due to time constraints. When we arrived we were the only seated table in the restaurant which worked out wonderfully. We were able to chat personally with Vito and Andrew, how fun! He did not lie, his meatball appetizer was amazing. We then moved on to his special cocoa infused pasta with bolognese, so different and delicious! All four of us agreed it was terrific. The bartender worked with us and the drinks were great. The bread pudding was more like a muffin and good. Not the best, but good. Could have used a bourbon sauce. But all in all it was a great dining experience and I only wish we lived closer so we could go more often. Hartford is a business city and with fewer people working downtown and traveling, we must support local places like this from going under...it's worth the drive!

The bartender was incredible. She is friendly, knowledgeable and talented. The ambiance is laid back and the food is very good. The drinks are great and the beer selection is very good.

Friday, 9/25/20. We had Eggplant Parmigiana and a Tuscan Panzanella Salad. Both were ambrosial and the portions were prodigious. You will end up bringing food home unless you opt to split a meal. Appreciated that V's served local craft beer. We enjoyed the craft draft beer from Alvarium Brewery located in New Britain. The waitstaff were very helpful in answering all our questions and the food was delivered with all the modifications requested. We plan to return soon.

1st try and eat Italian around the country/do a lot of cooking! So-so! Brushetta and pastry were good (compliments of the chef) but wasn't a fan of the promodora pasta or the chopped salad. Better experience down the road at Salute! Sorry!

Best food and service around. Chef Rob and his staff make the best meal and experience you will have around the area. The ambience cannot be beat at V's. You will truly feel welcome here.

Great downtown spot and awesome place to dine before or after a show at Hartford Stage. I recommend the pasta al Roberto, and the burrata board. Nice selection of drinks too

Small, slightly upscale, Italian restaurant with a huge drink selection that sits at the bottom of a office building in downtown Hartford. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I came with my family and tried the prosciutto pizza and their specialty pasta dish (which has been on the food network), and both were fantastic. My dad also loved his kale ceased salad. My parents did not love the rest of their food however (which included salads). Solid service, and a good looking bar inside as well8/10
