Made 530 appt by phone. Arrived 515. Was told there was a big party being served and our meal might take a little longer. We didn't get our meal for almost 75 minute. Guess I need to ask when I make a reservation if there is a big party being served. If I had known it would take this long we would have eaten somewhere else. We were not happy as we had let the server know. You would think we would have been offered a free drink or dessert but that didn't happen. Very disappointed...read full review
Honesty, hands down, gem. I've been wanting to come here for a long time. Finally did it for my dad's birthday celebration. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip, 1700's building is incredibly rustic and historical. The chowder was on special for the night, was delicious, all foods were incredibly good. We all can't wait to got back considering we finally went. Definitely off the beaten path and completely worth it.
