Pleasant, nautical-themed bar that serves bar food.
Loved the vibe, the food and best of all was Sara(h) the ballet dancer making a living while living her best life pursuing her dancing career! Keep spinning Sara(h), fly high and land on your toes. The Christensens from Winsted.

4 people, had a reservation for 5:15. Seated promptly, ordered burgers, salad, quesadillas at 5:30. Drinks came immediately. There were several empty tables. So not too busy. Others were getting their apps. Dinners arrived at 6:35! Waited 1 hour! Had to eat fast to make the show. Unacceptable. Food is fine, service is terrible. We have eaten there before and the wait was long, but came back because it’s close to the theatre. No more!

I went here with two friends on a Wednesday evening after a show at the playhouse. (We had reservations.) The food was excellent. I don't know how a previous reviewer could say otherwise! We had chicken wings for appetizers. I had eggplant parmesan and the others had the taco chili salad and a salad with grilled chicken. All was very good. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and I will definitely return.
The only drawback was that the service was very slow; I don't know if they were shorthanded, but everything took a very long time (waited to order, for appetizers, for the meal, for the bill, etc.) We were there at least 1.5 hours.

5 of us went for lunch yesterday, Haley & the kitchen knocked it out of the park. None of the other guys had ever been before, all said they'd be back. So laid back, not at all stuffy. Don't ever change.
Too bad the Blue Hound failed under Mary Flyn and Tim's Withingtons disgustingly poor management that pretended they were in a rock band. Decided to give this place a shot. The food is absolutely terrible. 4 people in the restaurant and took over 30 min to get the order to the table. 1 person working the kitchen and one waitress operating the bar and the rest of the tavern. I don't understand how anyone with a half way decent palette can eat here. It is all frozen food. This is terrible for the town of Ivoryton. I can't recommend this place. Take a short ride to Chester and get far far better food.

Everything was bad. The bartender was clueless, ordered a beer she opened the wrong one, the only hard cider they had was angry orchard. The nachos had barely any cheese on them and the chili was not good. Ordered a pastrami Ruben it was so tough and fatty. Left with a belly ache. The people in there were overall just unfriendly. Quiet and boring vibe and the bathrooms are god awful. Won’t be returning.

Met old friends for a lovely lunch. Enjoyed the very large tuna melt with fries. Reasonable and relaxed. We will return!

Newly reopened. Same menu and some same staff. Food and service was great and a good value. Atmosphere fantastic as a group of us watched the Euro tournament matches.
