Our friends were visiting from the Rochester, NY area and we were looking for not only great food but some live music too. We had been to the Fife & Drum years ago where we sat at the bar for drinks and apps.
We immediately loved the vibe of the F&D with its old style natural wood dining room and live piano music with Larry Ham playing the Steinway!
The food and cocktails were perfect. My wife had the Prime Rib and I ordered the Seared Pork Chop both cooked to perfection. Our friends had the Salmon and Filet Mignon both tender and juicy.
After dinner we moved to the bar for a final cocktail. Excellent pour from our bartender btw! We enjoyed another set by the piano man, Larry Ham.
The entire evening was wonderful as we chatted with Larry and the F&D owner. The Fife and Drum in Kent is a special place with excellent food, a great vibe, piano music on Friday and Saturday and a super wait staff!!

What a beautiful place! One of the best dinners we’ve had around here in a long time looking forward to going back. The service was fantastic from the host being super kind and friendly to the waiters being very attentive constantly looking in on us and making sure our water and wine never ran low. Definitely worth a visit if you’re are around this area.

We did not stay at the Inn. We had dinner at the restaurant. Both of our meals of scallops and pork chops were excellent. The pork chop melted in my mouth. The flavor was amazing.

This was my late husband and my go to restaurant. The food is outstanding and the service is professional. The flaming duck, filet mignon with bernaise sauce is the best!! Also the Cesar salad mixed with fresh ingredients table side can’t be beat. The rooms are gorgeous. It’s just outstanding.

I would recommend this restaurant for a quick bite or sit down dinner it's very old-fashioned inside so it's a calming effect The food is fresh and prepare to order I did not stay in the end but I'm looking forward to coming back and doing just that

Food & drinks: Delicious! My steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My fiancé had the chicken tacos, said they were good but missing the Sriracha heat.

Loved the ambiance alongside a more traditional formal dining experience. I opted for a paper plane that was well done paired with some steak frites for lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly with an ideal serving size. Will certainly stop by the next time I'm in the area.
