The food was great. The waiter gave good service, but the sole reasoning for my 3 star review is the hostess.
I felt scoffed at and disrespected when I didn’t have a reservation. The interaction with the hostess was a terrible 2-3 minute interaction that ruined an otherwise 5 star review.
The food really was spectacular, and the waiter was very attentive, but the hostess tone was downright rude.
This was a slow Sunday evening and there was plenty of seating.

My only critique would be the service. While the waitresses were professional, they could be friendlier. It’s not about tipping; it’s about recognizing that when people spend money, they expect a welcoming attitude to match the quality of the food and setting. A bit more warmth from the staff would go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience.
Despite that, Swyft’s food and ambiance are enough to recommend it, especially for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a charming, rustic setting.

Stopped in on a whim for brunch on a rainy Saturday. We sat at the bar and were served by Nancy who was absolutely wonderful. Food was excellent, drinks were delicious. We will absolutely be back!
Absolutely delicious pizza. Crust was light and chewy sourdough with leopard spots on the bottom, sauce tasted bright but not too acidic mixed with the pork fat and fennel from the sausage. Perfect pizza for my taste. Burger was much bigger than expected. High quality ingredients, soft brioche bun, buttery beef fat.

I really wanted to like this place because it's charming and trendy, with a menu that looks great. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. The pizza, in particular, had a crust that was overly hard and difficult to enjoy. Having tried many pizzas before, this one was quite disappointing. I'm not sure what went wrong, but it was a letdown. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Recently held a small wedding reception of 21 in one of Swyft’s event spaces with a cocktail hour outside in the garden. Allison, start-to-finish took care of us from conception to execution. We could not be more thrilled with how special she and her staff made us feel.
The food selection was immaculate and upscale, with a meticulously selected wine and cocktail pairing for the evening. They delivered a fresh, delicious, farm-to-table experience with each dish presented, as agreed upon.The sommelier, chef and bartender went out of their way to say hello to us and make sure all was going well.
The server-to-guest ratio made the evening intimate and none of our guests ever wanted for anything, as we were taken care of so well by the staff.
The space was perfect, the evening was perfect, and I will never forget how hard Allison and her staff worked to ensure my partner and I had a special day.

The salad and pizza were very good. However, we were made to feel like we were "in the way." We were seated at the bar and while eating our entree were asked to move over a seat so a person who was obviously under 21 and his parent could sit at the bar. After we received our food, no one came back to see if we wanted another beverage. The restaurant had a cold, unfriendly atmosphere. We left Kent with no desire to go back, particularly to Swyft.
Thanksgiving dinner was delightful.
