I’m not usually the type to leave 1-star reviews, but after the third time in a row that Wilson’s by High Watch has messed up my order, I feel obligated to say something. These mistakes have cost me more than double what I should be paying, and it’s frustrating when the pattern is so consistent.

They will charge you for double an item and only give you one. I can understand an occasional mix-up — things happen — but this feels like either the kitchen staff changes every month and no one knows how to read a receipt, or this is happening to many customers and not being addressed.

It doesn’t matter whether you order online or by phone; the result is the same. For example, 4 fried eggs on the side means 4 on the side. Instead, I get billed for 4 and receive 2, or they randomly put extra eggs on the sandwich and only give part of the order on the side. If I order eggs separately, they should be separate — it’s not up to the cook to decide where they go.

This has happened three consecutive times, even after switching to phone orders to avoid any possible misunderstanding. At this point, it’s just aggravating. I hope management takes this seriously, because the inconsistency and added cost make it really hard to justify ordering here again.

We came here while on vacation. We tried the iced vanilla latte, bacon egg and cheese croissant, ham egg and cheese bagel, and a few pastries. Everything was amazing!! It was the best bagel sandwich we have ever had (including New York) and we came back later in the afternoon for another coffee. The place is packed, so you know it’s good! But everyone is so friendly that you can find a spot to squeeze in. The employees were helpful and kind. For pastries, we tried the apple tart, cheese danish, and banana foster. So delicious!! Would highly recommend. It was the best food we had on our trip around Connecticut

Great spot for lunch in Kent. Sandwiches are tasty, the brussel sprout salad is amazing and great bakery items.

A large menu of sandwiches and baked goods that was hard to make a choice from! We went with bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough and chicken panini. Both excellent. The Oat Bar and Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookie were amazing. If we are ever in the area again - we will be back!

Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way home from hiking in the area, and was blown away. The place was packed and their espresso machine was down, and even though we were told the wait for food would be up to 30 minutes, it came out in almost half that time. The quality and freshness of my summer salad was great! HUGE, and so delicious, the blueberries really made this a stand out. Also tried their sandwich special and it was also delicious and a great portion size for lunch. Honestly wish we lived closer because we’d definitely be frequent visitors!

I’ve gotta give these guys credit they handle so much business in such a small space, and they do it so efficiently! Really looks like a smooth, well-run operation

Always love going to Wilson's when I am in Kent, CT. The ambience has changed quite a bit since the influx of Manhattanites to Connecticut since COVID, but the quality of food is still top shelf.

It is now hard to get a seat outside because many folks nurse their coffees at the tables for hours not letting folks with food, sit down.

Most inconsiderate, but not really anything to do with the restaurant.

Stop in here. You will not be disappointed.

Quaint cafe and coffee shop! The baked goods were amazing, including the gluten-free options for my wife! And the hot and cold coffee drinks were delicious and the associates were so friendly. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered a bagel with American cheese. There was no cheese and it was too burnt. I've ordered several times so far, but I've never burned it like this and I've never added cheese. It's very disappointing.
