What a difference from the first time we went! Super disappointing. No live music. The food went from 5 star to negative stars. Pizza, burgers, fried finger foods available and some salad? What happened to the crab dip, oysters etc! Super disappointing and will never be back

I had reservations for my birthday dinner for 6… when we arrived we had to seat ourselves… which we did… then 2-3 groups that came after us who also seated themselves began getting service and we were not even so much as greeted or offered any water. As a waiter walked by I tried to get his attention and let him know we had reservations and he cut me off and said I’ll get to you guys when I can and kept walking. Outside of the menu being extremely small the service was horrible! We left… we did not order anything. Will not go back! Will not recommend!

Unfortunately Nia has made some changes for reasons I am unaware of. I am disappointed in my first visit to Nia at Foxwoods. The menu did not represent soul food at all. There is no more live music which was announced. However the food was underseasoned bar bites. The service was amazing staff was very attentive.

I was there yesterday...
1. Reservation aren't necessary
2. When you arrive, just go inside and sit down, there wont be anyone greeting you at the door
3. There is no longer live entertainment
4. The menu has been downsized from what you see online
5. The service isn't that great but I will give credit to John, the bartender. He opened the place up (they open at 5), took my order and made drinks in between trying to take care of other patrons before some help decided to come give him a hand after about 40 mins.
6. From the time I arrived at 5, until I left about 6:45, I saw about 6 couples come in, sit down and wait about 20 minutes to be noticed and then left. Although I didnt sit at the bar, that's probably your best option if John is working.
7. I waited it out to see how the food was going to be and I will give them credit for that. It was good although I played it safe and got pizza, wings and a salad. My lady said her drink was good as well. Thanks John.
I will give the one in Boston a try in a few weeks.

We had a reservation and when we showed up there is no one at the stand. Just a sign to continue inside. Once inside someone tells us to sit anywhere. We sit down and it takes the server at least 10 minutes to say hello and ask about drinks. We ordered two drinks and two glasses of water. It took her ten minutes just to bring the water. I wanted to ask for straws and just order food since we noticed the wait time was long but she dropped the water and turned away. It looked like she was the only waitress working but everyone around us already had their food and drinks. No reason for such slow service. We continued to sit and watch the bartender do many other tasks but make our drinks. Seemed like the waitress never put it in. We ended up getting up and leaving. Waste of time.

I absolutely loved Grace by Nia. Well idk what had happened and I am assuming they must be closing down. People were nice but they are clearly either understaffed or not managed well. They no longer offer live music. We sat for 50minutes without receiving our drinks and finally decided leave. The location isn't prime real estate but it has so much potential. It's disheartening.

The menu was awful it was not soul food or anything close it was just mozzarella sticks pizza and a burger. I have been to this restaurant several times and this was the wordt. Are you getting ready to close? My party did not even stay to have drinks because we were so disappointed

I thought this was a soul food restaurant but it was a wing and burger place. It seemed like there was only 1 waiter at our 6:50pm dining experience. He was very tentative as every time he walked by he said are we okay. Food and appetizers came out at the same time and he immediately dropped the food and left. So u couldn’t ask for any condiments for the burger or fries that I got. Drinks were great, food was okay as the fries were cold, and the burger I got had tomatoes on it. I informed him had a tomato allergy. The atmosphere had great music and it seems nice and calm.

I went with my sister and best friend. We had higher expectations. My friend had been to the restaurant in the casino last year and stated it was great. The menu was very limited and there are no live performances anymore according to staff. We watched people come in and walk out. I would not call this a “soul food” place at all. No cornbread, no collar greens, no sweet potato, no black eyed peas, no mac and cheese. Very disappointed overall. They need to step up their game. Will not be returning. We were also told they have had many menu changes. Don’t waste your time unless you want a good drink.

Three of us were meeting after two years and my friend from Hartford had heard about Grace by Nia because of the live music and soul food. We were greatly disappointed as the server told us they had discontinued the live music and soul food about a month ago. The recorded tape was great and the volume at conversation level. The setting/atmosphere was really great. Unfortunately the remaining few menu items were basic burger type food. We had one round of drinks and headed to Cedars for their Calamari, Beef Short Ribs, Double-Cut Pork Chops and Potato Encrusted Flounder. It was all Excellent! The warm bread basket and chef-made butter included an amazing cranberry biscuit. It would have been a perfect 4 hour evening if Grace had a much better food selection.....

This place is IT! Good vibes, people, music, ambiance. My go-to after the show spot at Foxwoods. It's always hard to leave.

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. It started when I sent an email a week before we went to ask questions about food allergies our party had, specifically nuts, peas and shellfish. We received an email that no nuts or peas were in their ingredients and they could accommodate us. She made us a reservation and when we arrived before we could even tell the server about the allergies, he already had the information attached to the ticket. He even came out to ask about cross contact with shrimp on a grill which was above and beyond how we are treated at most restaurants. Compliments to the servers, the kitchen staff, and the employee that handled the reservation for taking that so seriously. Aside from that the food was great, the vibe was awesome and there was some great music playing with dinner. The staff were all friendly and professional. We stayed for about 3 hours and had a great time. Would definitely go back. Thank you for making the night fun and safe for us.
