Visited for the first time on Friday and I haven’t stopped talking about it since! The history and artifacts are incredible. The wax figures are so lifelike it’s unreal. Thank you for an amazing experience!!

Same great jump off guys as last time, great experience overall combined with the foliage, an amazing exhilarating experience, definitely be back , only complaint is that it's too short but well worth the experience, highly recommend ???

Last week we visited this museum. I was amazed at the detail that was put into this museum. The village recreation was just exceptional to show the life of an Indian during this period of time. The videos and the movie were also well done and informative. I want to recommend that anyone in the area stop in and visit this museum it is well worth the stop. We spent close to 4 hours in the museum and rushed through some areas. We also enjoyed the tower to see area around the museum. Great Job to the Pequot tribe for developing such a wonderful museum that honors and shows their heritage.

had the pleasure of attending a screening last month with my cousin - we were blown away at the scope and detail and creativity of the museum. so much to see and read but ran short on time before the screening began, will have to return soon! the event and folks involved were all excellent- we did a group activity and talk after the movie ended that encouraged what we call "talk story" where i'm from- and gave everyone some important stuff to think about and talk through with the others. it was a beautiful thing to participate in and the hosts were very kind, patient and generous with the hot takes or meandering tangents certain guests embarked upon ?

in general - you can feel the love and pride that has gone into this museum and its programs. thank you guys for sharing your time and conversation with us random visitors on a saturday afternoon! we'll for sure be back soon :)

Great place to learn something new! Make sure to check out the books at the gift shop!

Large, interesting and educational museum. I was very disappointed that the majority of films were not available to watch, food service was closed, and a major exhibit was closed as well. Nobody acknowledged my presence in the gift shop, a worker’s child slept in a chair in one of the shopping areas of the store while the worker sorted out some items; it was a weird thing to do on the retail floor. Left hungry and disappointed that many of the things I wanted to see were not available. Computers they have for educational purposes look like they are running on Windows 98. It’s time to update that technology. Loved the Native American village and the young man who greeted us and sold tickets was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Did not like how I was leaving the museum and there wasn’t anyone at the counter to speak to. The counter should close when the museum closes. My tickets should not have been full price as too many main attractions/amenities were not available.

The Mashantucket Pequot Museum educators, staff, and event director are an amazingly knowledgeable team dedicated to the mission of cultivating a connected and more educated community and promoting a deeper understanding of the history and geography that shaped the Mashantucket Pequot story. They are advocates and partners of education and have hosted a Community Night for our local elementary students and families for the past two years that was an engaging and beautiful celebration of history, culture and creativity. I couldn't be more grateful for their partnership to expand our students cultural appreciation and understanding.Rebecca SwansonElementary School Assistant Principal

A fantastic musuem regarding the history of the pequot tribe. Really informative and interesting. It even managed to hold my toddlers attention for a couple hours. Certainly worth a visit if you wish to learn about native American history. Fantastic displays, especially the hunting scene and the native American village you can walk through. And the staff were also lovely as well.

Never actually refunded us from a week ago when we went. We left after 30 minutes because the kids wanted to eat, we were in the middle of nowhere and the cafeteria has not reopened since covid. So much unused space in an odd layout of a museum. Also extremely overpriced. $66 for two adults and two kids under age of 6. The NYS museum is free with accepted donations and has so much native American rich exibits. Do not recommend.

The museum is wonderful. Many great exhibits covering information from the ice age to present time. The museum is very clean, bathrooms are in great conditions. We visited during the week on a rainy day. It was not very busy. Th exhibits are very insightful but not suitable for young children. However, the museum offers activities like pottery, paining and other crafts for kids that looked very fun and engaging. My favorite was the self guided tour around the village replica. There is a restaurant that offers fresh made food. I shared a wrap ($10) with my husband with was fresh and good value for money. (big wrap enough for 2)I would definitely come back, since we did not see everything. We spend 3 1/2 hours in the museum.
