Schnitzel was quite underwhelming. Instead of being crispy (the way it should be) it was soggy and luke warm. Really, they should serve the gravy on the side, but even then, I wonder if it would have still been soggy breading. Good flavor but who wants a soggy schnitzel??? Especially for $27!
We stumbled upon The Village Restaurant on a Sunday evening while trying to find a restaurant that was open and still taking orders. They were about to shut the kitchen in 5 minutes yet waited for all five of us to settle down and gave us enough time to decide our order. The service was warm. The staff is friendly. And, the food was great. They have enough vegetarian options on the menu. We ordered bruschetta, veggie wrap, portobello gorgonzola sandwich, beyond burger. Loved their...
Yeah um the people who runs this place likely smell there own farts - upon reflection (3 years later) I think I was unduly harsh in this review. I take it back! There is no fart smelling going on here. Good people and pretty pretty good place.
