We spent a few days on the shore and after dinner one night, we stopped at Ashley’s Ice Cream to enjoy the sweets. Lots of good flavors. Very busy at night. Highly recommended. Lots of chairs and tables outside in the plaza area.

It's a cute ice cream shop in the middle of town. Outdoor seating is nice, so you can sit out and enjoy. Ice cream is good not great, flavors also not amazing. Overall it feels a bit plain to be a full 5 stars, but I'd have no qualms about going back

This was one of the most unpleasant ice cream shops I’ve ever visited. I truly don’t understand how anyone could recommend it. The smell was overwhelming, and the floors were so sticky it was hard to walk without getting stuck. The ice cream itself was mediocre at best. I’d definitely suggest going somewhere cleaner and more enjoyable.

I tried Ashley’s Ice Cream for the first time with my party of 12, and the service was fast. The ice cream was so delicious, and I would absolutely come again. The staff were very pleasant. My niece has a tree nut allergy and they kindly cleaned a scooper for her. I would definitely recommend!
I’m not sure how this place gets good reviews. The ice cream was average at best. 4 people working in there but only one person was actually serving customers with a line to the door. ( why on a holiday weekend????) The girl who was serving was VERY rude to the woman in front of me who had a small,restless child with her from waiting so long. All the woman wanted to ask the server was if a certain flavor was hard or soft serve and she snapped at her that she was helping someone else- so many better places to go, don’t waste your time here.

One of our favorite places in Connecticut. We went for ice cream all 3 nights we stayed in the area. Ice cream was excellent. Recommend getting a large with 3 scoops and sharing it so you can try 3 different flavors. Yum!

Tried Ashley’s Ice Cream for the first time and absolutely loved it! - I had coffee ice cream and lemon sorbet. The coffee one legit tasted like South Indian filter coffee (in the best way possible). And the lemon sorbet- Tart, zesty, and super refreshing.. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m in Connecticut again!
