A decadent restaurant that does not fall short in any of the categories. The food stimulates the palet and transcends you to another world. The sauce reminded me of being back in grandma's kitchen, who was born and raised in Italy. The atmosphere and price point deserves higher admiration then a mere 5 stars. I have never recommended a restaurant as highly as I do for Cafe Allegre, but don't just take my word for it, prove me wrong.
Food is excellent; servers are pleasant, friendly and efficient; they know the specials to detail and don't rush you. You can relax without guilt. Can get a bit noisy by the bar, but...to be expected if you're near it! Comfortable atmosphere.
What a beautiful restaurant! We arrived just when they opened on a Saturday evening. I had to walk around to explore the many different dining areas. There is one table in front of a fireplace that I thought looked very romantic. Our waiter, Bill, provided impeccable service. He was attentive and friendly and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable (I was wearing a walking boot due to an ankle injury.) The chairs in the dining room were comfortable and had a nice cushion....
