he is so knowledgeable about tea. I will never buy my tea anywhere else. The store is amazing. The owner will answer any questions you have he runs a Tea class that is amazing and super affordable. Worth every single penny. when I took his class, I knew nothing about tea and now I drink it every single day. I got the infuser at the store and it’s definitely worth the investment. I use it every morning and it makes making tea a breeze and quick. I even got a digital kettle to brew my tea at the optimal color. He has taught me so much and I can’t wait to learn more highly recommend.

Today was my first time in this shop and I will DEFINITELY be back! I talked for a while to the owner who is very knowledgeable on the different types of teas, where they are from, health benefits and so much more than I can wrap up in a review. I went home with Ralph's Blend ( which I am drinking at this moment and LOVE) and Cloud Mist ( a green tea). Some even have fun names. A woman came in and ordered a cup of Float A Dead Mouse On It. This place is a treasure and the owner is a great source of information!

This place is AWESOME! My husband and I decided to make the ride on a Saturday to check out Savvy Tea (since it’s about 40 minutes from where we live.). We happened to arrive shortly before a tasting, so we decided to participate. We had no idea what to expect, and we were not disappointed! Phil (the owner) and his wife were so warm and welcoming. Phil’s overall energy and passion for tea is contagious! He’s brilliant and I learned SO MUCH in such a short time.He introduced me to my new favorite tea, and I would’ve never discovered it any other way. I recommend supporting this business online and in person! Whether it’s buying tea from them, or attending tastings- Savvy Tea is one of a kind and I can’t wait to go back!

Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I stopped by Madison on our way home from New Jersey. We parked right in front of this bright, inviting tea shop and it struck me that a tea would be just what I needed to make it home to Boston. I have to say the tea they suggested was one of the most perfect teas I've ever had. What's a huge added bonus is that their teas can be ordered online & shipped to me, so I ordered a bag right away. Thanks for a great tea & great tea experience that I'll be able to repeat at home time & time again.

Worth the drive! I've been a lifetime tea drinker but only recently started to explore loose leave teas. I wanted to visit a tea shop to learn more and through online research found Saavy Tea Gourmet in Madison, CT.WOW! I am so glad that we took the hour drive to check it out. I learned so much with my first visit. Both Emily and Phil were amazing! They took their time to determine my likes in order to make recommendations while at the same time teaching me a variety of things about tea. The knowledge that Phil has from his lifetime of tea research is so impressive! It inspires me to want to learn more.Words typed within this review can't even begin to express the experience I had today. I left with 8 different teas and can't wait to delve in.Besides being the best tea shop that you could dream up, each week, Saavy Tea Gourmet offers educational tea tastings. For $20 you can learn about the topic of the week while experiencing & tasting different related teas. The menu of topics is expansive and I can't wait to attend a session.Thank you Phil and Emily for providing an experience for me today beyond what I could have ever expected. I enjoyed every second talking with you both.
