My husband and I discovered Steamed near Hammonasset Beach this summer and loved it right away—friendly staff, a simple, authentic-feeling interior, and, most importantly, excellent food. Everything was fresh, clean, and cozy. Highly recommend!

Everyone loved the dumpling options. The buns were huge! Sadly,the spicy peanut noodles were neither spicy nor very peanutty. The edamame tofu salad was a pretty benign way to get a lot of vegetarian protein... not overly flavorful (but wish it didn't come in so much plastic:(

We were helped by Abby and Grace & they were the BEST!!!! Whatever they are getting paid, it needs to be tripled immediately!!!!! A++

My husband and I got the veggie dumplings and shared a veggie bun and they were both delicious! They cooked up super fast. Both dumpling and buns were light, fresh. It was the perfect amount of food to feel full but not like we over ate! Definitely will be making this our regular dumpling spot.
The only negative thing was the chairs are not comfortable at all! They are made of wood, sit straight up and are unforgiving. So if you don’t have the most perfect posture they are horrible to sit in.

I came in on a whim while walking around the shops in the area. The restaurant is small but decent as far as appearance goes. I was very excited about the food because they have good reviews, and who doesn't love dumplings?
I ordered the chicken dumplings with a side of chengdu sauce, and a pork bun. The sauce was definitely the star of the show. The dumplings were very good, but if I hadn't gotten the sauce I would have felt they were missing something. As far as the bun goes, while the bun itself was the perfect texture, the pork inside left a lot to be desired and lacked flavor. I remedied this by pouring the remainder of my sauce into the opening of the bun I'd made when I bit into it.
Overall, it was good, and I didn't hate it. I probably should have gotten a boba or tea on the way out though.

Food was good, however I experienced very rude service from a waiter that I overheard another server calling Rick or Nick. He spent most of the time behind the counter on phone, while the other server was running around serving people, making drinks, and cleaning. He was short and curt with me, not creating a welcoming enviorment at all. He called a customer a curse word behind the counter when he thought no one was listening, in a derogatory manner. Excellent food but the atmosphere was ruined by the waiter’s attitude and the bad music.
Great service; got seated immediately Yummy food! Everything came out hot and fast! Very reasonable price for 4 hungry adults!

Yummy yummy dumplings! We ordered shrimp dumpling, pork soup dumpling, beef dumpling among others. Good, authentic boba tea too. We lived in Asia for a few years so that’s the comparison. Cold and warm boba tea available. Only thing I was not so keen on was they serve the warm boba in plastic cups. But that’s my personal thing with microplastics. I’m sure Green tea served in Starbucks like paper cups even for dine in.. Casual dining. We enjoyed it and will com back.
