Wow. It took 15 minutes to get a half finished iced cappuccino. And there was nobody in line!
The gentleman behind the counter seemingly had no idea how to make the drink. I ended up leaving with a half finished overpriced iced cappuccino.
I definitely do not recommend this place.

Rudely sends customers to use other businesses in towns restrooms. Quite odd shop 🤨

Great coffee. Their matcha latte leaves much to be desired. When I ordered one, it looked almost greenish gray and tasted chalky. The powder they were using must not have been fresh or high quality. For a place serious about their coffee and offering a variety of loose leaf teas from around the world, I was hoping the matcha would impress.

Fantastic espresso both in drinks and whole bean.

One thing of note: their website says they use homemade mocha syrup, I saw my barista dump Hershey's into my cup, not even a premium premade syrup like Mrs Richardson or Torani. Not a good look, but hardly ruined the experience.

We really enjoyed our scones, bagels and croissants. There is a whole wall of different coffees to choose from.

How odd for a coffee shop not to have a bathroom for paying customers.

Unfortunately this location is not to the standard that New Haven has set. Drink quality is poor (drip coffee is ok). The saddest part is the stop and shop (it really is I saw it) chocolate syrup used for multiple $6+ drinks. Just a disappointing experience. I’ll stick with New Haven and another proprietor when in Madison.

Good coffee and tea ruined by unfriendly service! Some people are just not suited for customer-facing jobs! The woman that served us barked loudly, “The cream and other stuff you get over there!” Yes, barked loudly!!!
It was our first time in this cafe so we didn’t know where things were! No matter, since we won’t be going back! A first and a last time all in one go - just like the woman wanted! She probably believes that It is easier for her to not have any customer to serve (true, but not exactly a good mindset for business neither for holding down a job).

Great to have a local coffee shop and the service was amazing but the coffees are nothing spectacular

My friends and I were looking to go somewhere for a cup of coffee after work. We found this place on Google and saw that it closes at 6 p.m. We got there at around 5:10-5:15 and found the doors locked. We wound up going to Starbucks instead.

Well, I can’t tell you how the coffee was, because the staff was so unpleasant, I never got that far. Reading other reviews, I see I am not alone.

These people derive some kind of twisted pleasure out of enforcing random rules to make you feel unwelcome and to make your coffee experience as stressful as possible.

The passive-aggressive smiles and syrupy sweet tones with their nastiness so early in the morning was particularly irritating.

I was supposed to meet a friend there, but I told her I was leaving in search of a new location. So glad I did.

We ended up having a lovely morning coffee and pastry in the much sunnier and more open Madison Coffee House, where the owner was welcoming, and cheerfully going around chatting with customers to make sure everyone was happy. Night and day, the two places.

I walked in with a smoothie in my hand and bought a pastry. Employees were super nice but as I was about to sit down the manager appeared out of nowhere to yell at me saying I couldn’t bring outside food inside the cafe. Funny how she waited until after I bought something to say something. I calmly responded saying I wanted to eat the pastry I bought from them and she rudely interrupted me saying she wasn’t going to argue with me despite the fact that I, as a teenager, was being more polite than a grown woman. She told me to go outside and that I could eat outside. Upon walking outside, I see a sign saying only food bought from Willoughbys can be consumed on the patio. Seemed like she didn’t know what she was talking about and just wanted to start a fight. don’t waste your money at a place where you will be treated like a criminal for trying to eat a pastry you bought and kicked out as a paying customer, but only AFTER you actually pay for something. The second they get what they want from you, which is your money, they’ll instantly be disrespectful to you. Sadly it’s a great place ruined by a rude, and according to past reviews ABLEIST manager.

The service is amazing- these are the nicest people! The atmosphere is also so cute, with indoor seating and outdoor seating, gentle music playing inside. I haven’t had any food yet, only coffee, but the food looked great. They have a lot of coffee bean selections and a new flavor they feature daily. I’m here visiting and came here every day that I was visiting!

Excellent coffee. My friend Ed Francis goes to your coffee shop almost every day. His birthday is next week and we’re getting him a gift card for your store.
