Great bagels but my local big y never puts them out with the other bread , they hide them in the freezer, I have to ask the bakery person to get some for me , very odd can’t see how they are going to make a sale that way , Danielson ct big y

Bagels are really good here. Best in town if you ask me. The everything bagel is toasty with just the right amount of everything. The cream cheese is perfect. Creamy but flavorful. I have tried the frozen mango and strawberry drinks and it’s really good. My fav is the lox bagel. A must have for me. Fresh bread daily and good selection of coffee. This spot has a little of everything for any time of the day.

I always enjoy my bagel and cream cheese, which is fresh and made to order. We do laugh at how long it takes to make a simple toasted bagel compared to other spots, but don’t mind the wait. The manager is especially personable and always friendly. Other staff are quiet, but always helpful.

Love this place. Growing up in Brooklyn NY. I know a real bagel. This is our favorite bagel. My go to is the Tomato Turkey sandwich. Always make the drive from Middletown to Manchester for lunch and a dozen. My favorite is the everything bagel. Coffee is excellent. Great service.

On 6/24/24 at 4:25pm I went here with my mom while out running a few errands. First off let's start with the ridiculously Slloooowwww service.. and we were literally the only people in there. The young lady working there was extremely slow with taking the order... and as if that's not enough she clearly wasn't paying attention to what she was doing because we had to repeat the order a couple of times. And she still didn't get it right. We clearly asked if the sandwiches were toasted or warmed and she said toasted. Well let's start here. My sandwich definitely was not toasted. It was warmed up. My mom didn't want hers toasted and it was. I got the corned beef Reuben and at 12 bucks I was highly disappointed! The sandwich was the smallest thing I've ever seen. My moms was ok other than being toasted. It's a good thing we got a couple of bagels too because my sandwich was so small I needed the bagel. The pickles were surprisingly good. However the attitude and slow service along with the sub par portion it was definitely not worth the 40 bucks I spent on 2 sandwiches and 2 bagels. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location ever again. I would have been better off going to McDonalds and thats not saying much. So if your in the plaza on pleasant valley road and get hungry.. do yourself a favor and literally go anywhere else.. I recommend Jersey Mike's. Lol.. but stay away from between rounds. Highly disappointed.

Service was exceptional. Seems like they redid the place. it looks nice. The food was good also . I highly recommend this establishment.
Just order the jalapeño cheddar bagel, toasted with scallion cream cheese, you will not be disappointed! Yum!

This is my new go to place. Not only are the sandwiches delicious, but they upgraded their coffee. It's so good. Plus they have a great variety of teas. The staff are so warm and friendly! The kind of staff where after a few visits you can say "I'll have my usual" and they know.
