“Hands down the best Indian buffet that I've ever had in the US. Thursday is their Dosa night where they have a live Dosa station along with South Indian staples served in buffet style. On the weekends they have buffet lunch ranging from Goat Dum biriyani to Haryali green chili chicken to their famous Tawa fish (amazing appetizer). If you're around Hartford or a student at UConn do yourself a favor and visit this place for their buffets. The restaurant is clean, they serve alcohol , service is excellent and the food is honestly to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough 👌🏼💯”

“Our family of three came in on Thursday night, June 4th from Boston. We never had F&P pizza and our wonderful waitress assisted us with order g the 5 pizza special so we can try a lot of flavors. She really made our 2 hour drive worthwhile as we continue our vacation south. The pizzas were fantastic and my daughter was t sure if she wanted the crust on one of the pizza charred to the original standards, so she brought it out mid-cook for a visual check. Now that’s what I call customer service. Thanks for making it special for us. Remember, the food is good, but it’s the customer service makes it an experience!”

It’s run by a mother and daughter, and you can really tell how much care goes into the food. The mac and cheese was so good, the Jamaican patties were perfectly flaky, and the pepper shrimp had the perfect amount of spice. The chicken soup with pumpkin was comforting and flavorful, and the oxtail and curry chicken were absolutely delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to. Highly recommend checking it out.”

“Worth a stop. The environment is warm and welcoming and all the food is delicious. I had the Pollo Borracho and my wife had Carne Asada. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The sauce was unbelievable, and the beans were perfection.

The restaurant itself has a beautiful setting with an industrial hipster vibe, warm lighting, and a fun flare that makes the atmosphere really inviting. “I visit this shop twice a week. The staff always messes us my order. Decaf, light, 5 Splenda, with caramel. Yet every time it gets messed up somehow. Today I ordered a toasted multigrain bagel with cream cheese. What I received was a multigrain bagel with butter, which had melted and proceeded to run down the front of my new shirt, leaving four nice big grease stains. When I went in to get this corrected I was met by a manager who reminded me everybody makes mistakes. Upon ordering, a print out is generated to help the employees with the orders. I would imagine these are used in creating the orders. My order for today was $11.89. I gave the young man a ten and two singles. He told me I didn’t give him enough money. I told him to please count it. He looked at me like I was from another planet. I think I should have been treated a bit better in this shop. Gee, I am sorry, we will fix this for you. Your brand is represented here, and I love your coffee, but you need to spend, perhaps, a little more time in customer service and how to treat customers. I can always get my coffee somewhere else.”

“Upon arriving we asked if they had gluten free items on their menu. They Had. It was a separate menu but it was identical to the original with modifications for gluten free on ALL items they served. Our meal was terrific. Our server Jenny was outstanding, attentive and very personable. The managers took special attention in bringing out my meals themselves. “📅 August 23, 2025 WRITTEN REVIEW Big Al’s Reel Reviews - Ep. 153 Filomena’s On Main Street Town of Manchester, CT 🌆 Atmosphere & Vibe We walked into a great atmosphere - families around, a warm and friendly vibe, and a beautiful interior. The crowd was very diverse, which added to the positive energy and sense of community in the room. Inside, it looks amazing, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to settle in for dinner. Overall, the atmosphere here was top-notch. 👥 Service Our server was Joel, and he set the tone right away. He was very nice, attentive, and friendly, checking in often and making sure we had everything we needed. The whole staff gave off that same positive, welcoming energy. 🍽️ What I Ordered 1️⃣ Buffalo Wings- Hot (10 pcs) - $16 👍🏾 👉🏾 Amazing, top-notch chicken wings. Cooked just right and full of flavor. 2️⃣ Buffalo Wings- House Blend (10 pcs)- $16 👍🏾 👉🏾 Same deal - perfectly done, flavorful, and backed up by a delicious blue cheese dressing. 3️⃣ Calamari (Appetizer) - $16 👍🏾 👉🏾 Crispy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Absolutely amazing. 4️⃣ Hot Honey Chicken Deluxe Sandwich (with fries) - $18 👍🏾 👉🏾 Solid sandwich. Chicken was juicy, hot honey brought the right kick, and the fries were on point. A very good plate. 5️⃣ Chicken Parmesan - $23 👍🏾 👉🏾 Delicious and well executed. The chicken was tender and soft - I could cut it easily with my fork. The sauce was flavorful, the mozzarella melted perfectly, and the whole dish came together beautifully. A great chicken parm that earns a strong thumbs up. 📝 Final Take Filomena’s on Main Street in Manchester absolutely delivered. From the welcoming and diverse atmosphere to the friendly service from Joel, everything lined up for a great night. The wings and calamari were excellent, the sandwich solid, and the chicken parmesan was a standout. “The food was freshly prepared unlike the drive thru cashier's customer service skills. I ordered without stating I had a coupon she informed me I would need to reorder at the drive thru kiosk.
Although annoyed I circled back through the drive thru here's the kicker I forget to mention the coupon again, same cashier takes the coupon at the window.
What a waste of time and my Gas at $3.59 a gallon. Ugh”

“Highly Recommended. I have ordered catering from them for 15 people. Food was amazing. Beef Biriyani was authentic Bangladeshi Tehari style which is rare to find and cooking was really good. On top, when i communicated with the management to place the order they were very cooperative cordial and easy to work with, the service received today made me even more confident about the restaurant in the future.”

“We were driving back after a long day and decided to stop at this place. Let me tell you, the food was great but the experience was a bit confusing. The sign on the venue exterior implies the food is all vegan. But it's actually a vegetarian restaurant with plenty of vegan options. But the vegan options are not clearly labeled on their menu. Luckily, the staff can easily identify for you what is and isn't vegan. However, this means that the items I was excited to order were off limits for me. Another confusing thing about the experience is the fact that paper menus are not handed out but instead plastered on the wall. Not idea, but hey, it worked. We were also instructed to place our orders online using a qr code. I'm not sure if it's possible to just call in an order. Having said all of that, the food was really good and flavorful. And you get plenty of food for the price. Well worth the hassle of ordering. I definitely plan on returning. Updated from previous review on 2026-04-10”

“Pizza Mia has excellent food! The owner and staff are so nice and welcoming. I’ve always loved their food for eating in or taking out. Now they serve an excellent breakfast. You must go there for yourself and try it. You won’t be disappointed. Easy parking in the back. Yum!!!!”

“Nice tasting chicken fingers. Juicy nice coating on the outside. Simple place, simple menu. Not a fan of the dipping sauce. Wish they had other options for dipping sauce. Even has nice printed napkins with the logo on it.”

“These kids do a super job! The pizza was prepared & cooked perfectly, & it was delicious! It was on time & ready to pickup. In regards to the bad reviews I see here, honestly people, get over yourselves. Just because your breadsticks were cold or you happened to get a young counter person who is training & messed up your order, it surely isn't the end of the world. Also, if you're that scared about germs, & covid, please do the world a favor & stay home, nobody needs your hysterical, negative vibes. This location makes great pizza & I would go back for more.”
